I was telling my dentist and a few of her staff that I am having WLS. One of them said for me not to lose too much weight from my face?:confused1:REALLY??? LIKE I REALLY HAVE A CHOICE???? And then she proceeded to say oh you are going to be so pretty after your surgery?:sad0:OK SO WHAT DOES THAT MAKE ME NOW??? CHOPPED LIVER? LOL LOL LOL!!! I am not having this surgery to "look pretty", I personally am fine with my looks now. I am having WLS for multiple health issues. And they say KIDS SAY THE DARNDEST THINGS???? Thanks for letting me vent LOL

O wow! That's awesome! I think I can do 1 day of clear stuff LOL! I got scared because people here say they had to do 2 weeks, that would be so hard :-). Thanks for your help! Us Kaiser Sisters have to stick together :-)

Welcome weigh8nomore!!! My experience with Kaiser has been awesome. I know it's a long process but they really want us to be informed and the classes were great. The doctors and educators really do seem to care. We are all truly blessed to be having our sleeve done with Kaiser :-) -
I really worried about this part of the journey, my hair is super fine (even though is doesn't look it) and tons is already falling out now that I'm older yikes :-(

All I plan on saying is that I was a size 14/16 and now I'm a size ____they can figure it out:laugh0:...I think that's the safest way to go, for me at least:thumbup: I don't want to hear comments like my God you were huge:thumbdown:!!!! -
Ok I finished my options classes on April 2nd, and was contacted at the end of June to meet with the surgeons, so you should be contacted hopefully by the end of this month, yayyyyy! If you don't hear anything by the end of the month call Harbor City. Once you meet with the surgeons (seminar setting) they will ask you what dates you are not available for whatever month they are currently scheduling surgeries. They asked us what days in August were we NOT available (I said the first 2 weeks) then the actual surgeon will call you personally by the end of the next week to set up a surgery date.
