You are funny! Thanks for making me laugh! I haven't even tried to cross the Protein bridge yet. All I know is I LOVED the Protein shakes from costco and now I can't stand them. So I have no plan. I wish there was a powder that was tasteless and could go into anything ugh!

Omgosh! I'm right with you with the gas pain! Good way of explaining it, I will have to use that LOL! I die every time I know I have to drink:crying:. I can't wait for the day there will be NO PAIN! -

Thank you! Yes I'm feeling waaay better. Those first few days were terrible for me. I am able to get much more down now
. I still have pain though I'm not sure if that's normal or not. I can't wait for my post op on Thursday. -
I am 7 days out from having surgery, and it was SUPER tough for me. The gas, and not being able to get fluids in did a job on me. I am feeling better with each new day. I just felt bad when I would read that people were actually up and out the day after surgery, I thought something was wrong with me lol, but I know everyone is different. How many days has it been since your surgery and how are you feeling now???

I am doing SOOOOOOO much better! Thank you JESUS! Today makes 1 week since my surgery, and it's night and day. I'm so excited I'm back in onederland, haven't been since 2005 so it feels good :-)

The BEST is yet to come . I've been married 20 years this October. I have an 18 yr old son, and 13 yr old daughter. I'm hoping by next October to be able to actually fit back into my wedding dress, that would feel SO awesome!

Oh noooo! OK it's probably from all the swelling seriously! Remember that you are swollen inside and out and it will eventually come off, how are you feeling otherwise?

No the uvula situation hasn't happened to anyone that I'm aware of, so don't worry about that. Just get mentally prepared on fluids and gas and you will be fine :-) and as everyone is saying it really does get better with each passing day, thank you JESUS :-)
I haven't been able to break the 200's since 2005 so I'm pretty excited about the break-through :-)

I think I over did it yesterday. Last night was uncomfortable. I woke up at 2am for more liquid codine. And usually the one dose right before bed will keep me through the night. I will take it easy today :scared0: -

Couple Silly/Stupid Questions

OK let's not stress ourselves out :scared0: that doesn't help. We will work at this and get it done together...eventually lol -
I really think I just didn't realize how little I would be able to take in, so then it made me feel bad when I couldn't...then with all the other complications (lump, uvula) on top of the normal stuff (gas pain, not being able to drink), it just made it worse...but I thank God I'm getting better. Last night was rough because I think I over did it yesterday (cuz I was feeling good). Ask your surgeon to show exactly how much fluids you will be able to take in right after the surgery. I really think it will help you, so you will be mentally prepared. I had heard it over and over, I guess I just didn't really believe it
. And I think being mentally prepared will help you big time! I am happy to say I'm 199 today...Hugs
