Wow that's odd...Kaiser is really anti-lap band. I think the only surgeons that would promote the lap band over the sleeve are the surgeons that can only do lap bands. I know that's the story with these 1 800 lap band surgeons, that's all they do, no other wls options (and they are making a fortune).

At about 6 weeks out (when I was cleared to eat all foods) I had honey nut cheerios w/milk and it was awesome (I just made sure to let is soak a little before eating) mm mm good .

It gets better sweetie! I've been right where you're at I didn't have an easy recovery either AT ALL (I was not out shopping the day after surgery like some people have posted lol, or back to work 3 days after lol), I really was not mentally prepared...What you are feeling is terrible, BUT it's normal to feel the way you do. By day 14 I felt so much better, but I still had moments of up and down feelings probably through the first 6 weeks. Eventually you are going to LOVE your sleeve and be so grateful you did this. This too shall pass ...HUGS!
