sleeve 4 me

By the way I'm 43 and will be 44 in November. Never too late

I currently have braces. Clear on top, silver on the bottom. I had 2 front teeth that bothered me FOREVER. We couldn't afford it growing up. And when I got married well you know life kicks in with the house payment, kids, LIFE. Finally did something about it last year and got them on 2 months before my sleeve surgery. My son was going starting college and I wasn't sure if I wanted the extra expense. My hubby said you know you have been talking about your teeth since I've known you (since 1989), why don't you just go for it, so I did. They are supposed to come off in December. THEY ARE TRULY A PAIN, but I LOVE the way my teeth look now I SAY GO FOR IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess all the talk around me hearing about so many wls people gaining their weight back just got to me and freaked me out. Especially since I've been trying to maintain and not lose anymore and yet not gain is tough too. I guess I will eventually find that happy place of maintaining. Thanks for all the feedback.

UGH AND I started drinking diet soda again fountain only...OK one thing I will get back on is WAITING 30 minutes before and after eating. That is so awesome you have lost 22 lbs. you are half way to losing that 50 lbs. girl! YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YES all of the people I've heard that have gained a lot back or all of their weight back have been RNY...ARE THERE ANY SLEEVERS OUT THERE that have gained weight back???? Like I said in my post I gain 1-3 lbs. and then drop, but that's the most I've gained. Are there any sleevers out there that have gained 10, 20, 30 lbs back (besides Last Chance)?

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYY! I love it! I remember when that day came. Now I weigh about 40 lbs. less than my hubby yayyyyy! Ps by the way you look waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay thinner than 183! It's incredible!
