Hello I'm 6 days post opt from the band I'm having bad should pains, also I have to use a heating pad to help ease the pain. Also having bad taste buds from all the liquids. Kinda hungry but hanging in there it seems like at night my stomach feels really heavy and full.. I have my first follow up a ppt on next Monday . -

I would say walking as much as you could and pain meds . I also had some sugar free apple juice and that seemed to make me have first bowel movement and that helped alot .... Good luck.... -

Hey sorry for the delay I just Got the hang of how to reply to your actually message that I receive. Lol yes everything went well today. I had dr Steven simmon very good doc... I live southside in phx , yes I had to do the pre-opt for about 6 days I lost about 8-10 pounds . Yes I would to keep in contact to stay focus .. Aug 19 will be here before you know it. You will be fine. Were on the right track.... -

Hello ladies I'm 32 yr live in Phoenix will be banded on tues aug 2,2011 and I'm a big ball of nervers, excited, scarred at the same time. Lol -
I'm so excited and scare at the same time. I just my date for the band on Aug 2, 2011 . I'm feeling a lot of emotion but deep down I know I have made the right decision. I know I will be fine and it's going to be a good life style change for me and my family.

Just wanted to say thank you all for sharing your experenice with us. this sight is very informational. I hope I can be as helpful to others as I start my journey with the lab band. I just completed the heart and lung test all went well. Just waiting on my date should know something within the next day or two. Nerverous......
