Happy Birthday Kymie! I am in for the July challenge. This will be the first one I have participated in. My weight loss has been slow, so I am going to set a realistic goal of 5lbs. I have been doing good since my last fill/unfill. I have a total of 7.3cc in my band (I think). I am starting to feel the restriction and am noticing more problems with eating in the morning and bread. I definately need to chew more and take it slower than I have had to in the past.

Oh, and I lost 3lbs since yesterday down to 180

So I had my infill today under flloroscopy. It tasted terrible! I drank some and felt like it went down. The picture said differently, it just sat there. He said the opening of the stomach was so small, it was like a pin point, that is why I couldn't even drink water. I still don't understand why I am ok drinking water in his office and then too tight later. He ended up taking 0.7cc out, leaving in a total of 7.3cc. I am doing liquids today and so far so good.

@MeridthMcFee-Congratulations on the 3lbs and breaking past your plateau!!! That is wonderful news. @Justdoit130-So after my fill I came back to work and had a Protein shake and it went down fine. Later that evening I tried some Soup, and after about 3 spoons, I started getting that stuck feeling and major tightness in the chest. I dont understand why it feels ok at the doctors office and then later it hurts. I ended up pbing that night and decided I will definately have some taken out. This morning I took one drink of apple juice and have been in pain for an hour. I had to pull over twice while taking the kids to school to pb. Not fun. I have called my doctor this morning and am waiting for a call back.

I just had a fill today. I am a little nervous. Previously I was at 6.5cc, I had to have 0.5cc taken out because I couldnt keep anything down. After that, I felt like I didnt even have a fill. I gained back 2lbs and decided to go in today. My doctor said I would probably only need a small fill because of what had happened last time. He puts some saline in and has me drink water to see how it goes down. I did, went down fine, put more, went down, fine, more, slowed a little but not much. In the end he asked me if I was sure it wasnt slowing down because he had put a total of 2 more cc in. I was shocked! He pulled it all out to verify, then put it all back in and had me drink again. It slowed a little. He asked if I wanted to stay with 2cc or take some out. I decided to try it, and if needed I will go back for an unfill. I hope this works for restriction (but not too tight) since I am now at 8cc out of a 10cc band (on my 3rd fill). I drank 2 small bottles of water while I was in his office to make sure it went down ok. I told him I was surprised because I see so many people whos doctors will give very little fills. He said he goes by how we feel when drinking since everyone is so different.

Happy Monday everyone! So I have been trying to incorporate some execersise. My husband and kids got me a beach cruiser bike for Mothers day. I definately enjoy riding it. Now I need to get the treadmill out from the back of the garage. Since my last unfill a couple of weeks ago I feel like I did prior to the fill, even though he only took out .5cc from the 1.5cc he originally put in. I am going to go in Wednesday for another fill. I am kind of scared because I had so much problems before with not being able to tolerate anything. I need it though as I have not lost any weigh this month, gained a couple of pounds. Here is to a new week! Congrats to everyone on their victories!!!

nicole1 -That would be great to see some of your "moves", thanks so much for offering. You definately have a busy day and still get your workouts in. I know I am definately making excuses! I will say I tried going around the track with my 5 & 3 year old. My oldest son was yelling at me like a drill sergant,...come on mom, run, faster, you have to excersise to be strong then you can relax! It was so funny and motivating. The only down side was my youngest son complaining and not wanting to run or walk, I was draging him along. We only made it once around the track, but it was a start. mags2u - Thanks for the pep talk. I am not really as sedantary as I make myself out to be. I am an outside sales rep. so I am constantly walking going door to door of businesses. I just need to do more besides that. Cross my fingers that my husband pulls out my treadmill by the end of the week and I actually get on it! JustDoIt130 - Your right, I should post no matter what, this is a support site after all! I hear you about getting up early, I wont even set that as a goal for myself as I know I will surely fail that one. I am proud that I lost 26lbs. Everyone sees it and comments, I just dont see it as much and wish it would be faster to come off, LOL. 126dee - have you tried the healthy choice fudge popsicle. They are a great for when you have cravings for sweets. They are only 100 calories each.

5'4 Whats Your Goal Weight?
n2animals replied to JanellesMommy8210's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Im 5'6 and my goal weight is 130-140lbs. -
SORRY EVERYONE, I HAVENT POSTED SINCE MY LAST UNFILL. I READ EVERYONES COMMENTS EVERYDAY. I AM HAPPY TO HEAR OF EVERYONES WEIGHT LOSS. I HAVENT POSTED BECAUSE I FEEL LIKE IM FAILING THE BAND AND READING EVERYONES VICTORY GETS SOMEWHAT DEPRESSING FOR ME. AFTER I HAD .5CC REMOVED, I FEEL LIKE I DID AT THE LAST FILL, LIKE I CAN EAT WHATEVER I WANT. I KNOW I AM EATING SMALLER PORTIONS, BUT I STILL FEEL IT IS TOO MUCH. I HAVE LOST 25LBS SINCE THE SURGERY. I SHOULD BE HAPPY WITH THAT BUT I SEE EVERYONE LOSING CLOSE TO 50LBS ALREADY. I DO HAVE TO ADMIT, I HAVENT EXCERCISED AT ALL (I CANT BELIEVE I FINALLY TOLD YOU ALL THAT), SO I SHOULD BE CONTENT WITH MY WEIGHT LOSS. I JUST DONT SEE HOW YOU HAVE THE TIME OR MOTIVATION TO GET YOUR EXCERCISE IN. AFTER WORK, I AM EXHAUSTED AND AS ALL US MOTHERS KNOW, I HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF THE KIDS, HOMEWORK, BATHS, ETC. BY THE TIME I GET THEM TO BED ITS 9PM. I NEED TO GET ON MY HUSBAND TO PULL THE TREADMILL OUT OF THE GARAGE AND SET IT UP FOR ME. MAYBE THAT IS WHAT I WILL ASK HIM TO DO FOR MY MOTHERS DAY GIFT! I AM DEBATING ON GETTING ANOTHER FILL, I AM JUST NERVOUS AFTER THE PROBLEMS I HAD LAST TIME. YOU LADIES REALLY ARE GREAT, I LOVE THAT WE CAN CHEER EACH OTHER ON AND HELP EACH OTHER THROUGH THE LOWS AS WELL. HELP, I NEED MOTIVATION!!!

I had my unfill today. He took out 0.5cc and so far so good. I am on liquids for 2 days again. What a relief to be able to drink a protein shake without pain! If this happens again, I definately wont wait to get the unfill. It was unbearable, the only good thing was that I lost 7lbs in a week. That is definately not the way I want to do it though!

Oh, by the way I am from Valley Village/North Hollywood area of California. Anyone else on here nearby?

I did call the doctor, he is in surgery all day today and I was out of town yesterday. I cant wait till my appointment tomorrow. I thought it would get better, unfortunately it has progressively gotten worse. I am surprised I am not dehydrated and still have any energy!
