You dont have to tell your boss anything, if she asks you just say its personal and leave it at that, In todays health care world to discuss personal health information is agaisnt the law and people can get fired from discussing other peoples medical issues. Biotin is sold over the counter and you will have to ask your M.D on what dose he will let you use and there is no side effects noted, I use it and Im pre surgery and havent noticed a difference. I have thin hair and nails and have used it for over 2 months but it might work for others. I still continue to use it though.....hope this helps
