I have had 2 fills and no pain either time. I was so scared the first time when I saw that needle but it wasn't bad at all.

I just had my first fill on 05/15/07. My Doctor usually does 1.5cc but gave me 2cc since I had no restriction at all. It's been 3 days since my fill and I still don't feel any difference, I can eat anything but I'm trying to stay with lean cuisines until I can go for another fill. My next fill will only be .5cc and I sure hope it makes a differance. I was looking forward to my 1st fill, even though I didn't think I would get to the "sweet spot" with the first fill, I thought I would at least get some restriction:(

Did your surgeon call to check up after your surgery?
CMarie replied to JeninCO's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
My Doctor didn't come see me post op in the hospital nor did he see me at my post op visit in his office. I havn't received even a phone call since surgery. At the info seminar the staff talked about how much they follow up after your surgery, I sure don't know what happened to that. -
2 days post-op with a migraine
CMarie replied to CaraDFW's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I also had a very bad migraine the night of my surgery and they gave me liquid loratab, it worked pretty fast. It didn't make it go away 100% but made it much more tolerable. When I came home I cut up a percocet and took half of one cut into 4 pieces. Hope your feeling better  -
Terri A pound a day would be sweet I'm sure it won't stay this way but as long as it's steady I'll be happy. My sister had bypass surgery 4 weeks ago and has lost 30 lbs but is sooooo unhappy because she's sick almost everytime she eats. I havn't got sick at all and hope it stays that way. Overall I feel good. Don't think I will be joining the gym because of work and my 11 1/2 month old that keeps me very busy but I have my elliptical and swimming pool (Florida) so I think that will work for now. As of today I'm down 13 pounds and lovin it. Glad to here your on the same track, I expected the weight loss to be so much less because of the lower BMI. Surgery 04/09/07 Dr. Lopez Viego WPB Florida

Hi- My BMI is 35 I'm 5'7 and my weight was 221 on the day of my surgery. I was just banded on 04/09 and so far I have lost 10 lbs on the post op diet but I can't help thinking that as I add solid foods to my diet that I will stop loosing or even gain. Any advise on how to stay loosing?

I just had my band on 04/09 and feel the same way. Mostly been having broth, jello and protien shakes but only 1-2 oz at a time and sipping on water all day. As far as that horse on your chest, try Gas X strips. They havn't made all of the heavy feeling go away but it does help.

This is my first post because I didn’t think I was ever going to get a surgery date after months of Doctors and test and more Doctors and more test. I have been lurking around this site for some time now gathering info and encouragement. It is by far the best site I have found. My surgeon is Dr. Viego Lopez in South Florida he and his staff have been great. I’m more excited then nervous. My sister had gastric bypass 2 weeks ago and tried to encourage me to do the same but I just couldn’t go that route besides it being to scary the recovery time wouldn't work for me with my 11 month old ball of energy. Glad to see other bandsters with the same surgery date as me. CAN'T WAIT

Thank you both for wishing me well. I have to be at the hospital monday at 6:00am I'm the Docs first surgery of the day, don't know if that's a good thing or not. Guess that depends if he's a morning person
