I could use a buddy. I don't know anyone (especially someone around my age) who is going through all of this and like you my mother is all I have.

Will my iron levels keep me from having the surgery done? I've done my six months (I'm pretty much at the end, I'm actually going to my psych evaluation today, which is my last step to the Pre-op appt) and now I'm worried that if my labs show that my iron levels are really low then the surgeon won't do the surgery. FYI I did tell him that I am anemic and that I should probably take iron supplements, and he didn't say anything else about it.
