Wel my name is LaTorya and I have been overweight my entire life. It has always bothered me emotionally but the past year has started to affect me physically. Joint and back pain has been giving me lots of problems so I decided to look into WLS. The lapband procedure seemed to be the most non-evasive of all the surgeries and reversible if need be. I also like the fact the you can lose the weight at a slower rate than with gastric bypass. So I have decided to go forth with the procedure. I can not wait to change my life for the better and see a completely different world than what I have now!
