I'm in Akron Ohio and I'm having my surgery at Summa hospital by Dr.Dan -
@mokee Im also in ohio and i've talked to my financial secretary thats submit paper work at my surgeons office and she actually called me and let me know it was approved if you met all the requirements, and also she said that medicare system hasn't been updated yet but as soon as they do update you can get submit your paper work

Just got off the phone with my surgeons office and yes Medicare is 100% covering vsg what a great birthday present....and also drum roll my surgery is going to be around the 1st week of september : )

A lot has happen since my last post I had to start all over with my 6 month supervised diet because of my insurance getting change but I'm actually glad I didn't have my surgery yet i felt like i was kind of rushing things but now I'm so ready to start my journey. And I will be finding out my surgery date this Friday on my Birthday Day : )

Hi to my knowledge my surgery will be at the beginning of the month I'm so happy it been a long process the only thing i have to do is a 8 weeks of optifast prior to surgery but enways I'm so excited .....

Well i just finished my last month for the 6 month diet and I go see the nut on monday and they will submitted my paper work .....oh and i lost a total of 25lb :)s

Well i can't sleep really tonight...i've talk to a friend that was really negative about the surgery and it really got to me....and i know deep down this the path i need to take for a healthier life .......idk just got mix feelings right now

Well today was my 5th month of the supervised diet i lost 3lbs this month making a total loss of 23lbs so far 1 more month to go
