Not selling Benefiber in Vero beach, fl? Any good Subsituties?

I had VS surgery on 2/10/10. They discover I had leak 03/17/10. Was in hospital for 12 days NPO 8. I have Jp drain in abcess and stent in stomach. I am drinking eating very well. I have lost 80lbs. Looking for people who have the same or is going thru the the same problem.

Pic line should be good if kept clean and operated properly. I had no more veins for the to stick. Less painful in long run. I am 2years out my operation and the leak was bump in the road ( suck at the time) don't regret operation matin same weight for a year . Blood work and blood pressure excellent. Now will only see dr once a year. Less food more money for golf

[i am doing great, just heart burn some times when I lay down to after eating. A year 3/4 out and keeping weight off. Dr.Marema and Dr. Koppleman are the best and the staff are too. I am the the >1% and they got me thru it. You will do great if follow you what they say. I had my initial consultation with Dr. Marema last week and I asked him about his experience with leaks. He only mentioned one leak story and I think he was talking about you! He mentioned it was a little over a month out. Glad to hear it all worked out.

Hansi, I felt same way when went thru my leak. It's has a a year and half since surgery and I don regret a bit I have reach my go weight and have no problems. Please be patient and try to relax and heal. This is just hiccup in the course of life. Your will get better.

I am very anxious. It seems like My family expects me to eat like normal person. I Perfer not to be around the food. They are asking me what we time to should eat. I said since I most likely I won't be hungry and not eating as as much as them at one time they should set the time. I also ask not to carve the turkey since I tend nibble and make my self sick. Part of me thinks I should of gone on a trip.

if anyone has had any leaks let me I and I will listen

I am doing great. Blood work and pressure is great. My doctors are so experienced they new what do and got me thru it. I have lost a total 129 lbs. My golf game is back and I even hit the ball better. I can play up to seven days a week. There are times regret it the because I can't take a huge bite something or eat bread. My only real problems is contistpation and heart burn but I am treating them better. I love going up to people who I havn't seen In awhile andwatch them do double take.

I got St augustine I was the 1% that complication but my drs is so experience they got me through it

Does any have any tips to reduce the heartburn from vitamins? I take nexium everyday?

I would to with someone who was sleeve around feb 2010. I want know how they are feeling and their and talk about my issues.

What some suggest to take on a vaction? I am think of going to vegas? Maybe 7-8 trip. What need for airport, plane, hotel and eating out?

I am vactioning in las vegas. Iam doing good I have been able to find things to eat and find protein supplements. I am still nervous about complications but the facts are I'm doing great. Because I went my GP last week and my blood work was great. The mind can play stupids tricks on you if you let it.

I am have having foamies alot lately. It feels like my stomach is full and lump in my throat. I am trying a liquid diet for few days in hopes my stomach is swollen. I can get down water and protein drinks.

Can sleevers exist whith the majorty of our protein coming from liquid protein?

I am keeping in you all prayers. Do they have a counselor you all can talk with hehelp me fight the depression. I took two months for my leak to heal.

Now I am able to eat oz of protein. Stomach fils full all the time water is slower to get in but geting it in.
