I have been overweight since I struggled with inferitily back in 1997.  I gained 30lbs trying to conceive our 1st child and I gained additional 30lbs after I became pregnant with our first child.  I lost the 30lbs that I gained while pregnant but the 30lbs I aquired before that stayed.  I was pregnant with our 2nd child when our son was 17months old and I still had that extra 30lbs!  After the birth of our daughter I lost 10lbs of 24lbs I gained with her and not losing any of that weight we became pregnant again when our daughter was 26 months old!  Three children in five years took it's toll on my body!  Since the birth of our last child I weighed the most I had ever weighed.  I would loose 15lbs only to gain it back with additional 10lbs added back..than I lost 30lbs, two years ago, but I gained all that back and than some!  This is what lead me to this decision to get the lap band!  I'm excited for my new adventure.  I'm ready to start feeling better so I can be a better mom/wife to my family.
