I didn't feel sick at all and I ate very very little and chewed my food many many times to make it puree like. I just cannot puree my meals in a blender. New start tomorrow is all I can do....back to oatmeal... Im glad I came back on this forum because it helps so much :)Thanks again K...

Hi all...I fell off the wagon the nurse said mushies and I started well and then it all went downhill from there. I am almost 2 weeks post band and im still trying to get use to "full"...stuffed...not enough.... I don't think I ate too much but I did eat the wrong foods and "pureed them with my teeth. I ate rice drenched in bean sauce, chicken, bread....I figure if I say it out loud I'd feel less guilty...Honestly...I never got a list from my surgeon... Not sure what the right foods are. I also ate a piece of cake drenched in milk milk and 2 sips of wine on my birthday...idk..I've been feeling so guilty ....I decided not to use them forum for a week because I felt like I failed...a failure . Im tired of punishing myself... I will start fresh again this week. Hopefully its not too late...idk... I did lose 10th+ pounds bc I ate very very little...

Hi...I too didn't have gas pain in my shoulder until today and its sucks. Im going to try the lemon and splenda...sounds refreshing... Im glad that you are doing well...keep us posted. I agree, coughing hurts....

I don't have and appointment yet with my dr. I had to check in by phone today. I have to check in on Monday for a list of what I can eat. I am hanging in there. Today, if the weather permits...I will take your advice and walk and walk and walk. Let me know how it goes for you tomorrow...good luck

I am in so much pain....I was taking pain meds but my husband told me that if the pain is still there its probably gas....gonna get gas x today. Also, I am unusually hungry....wonder why. Day 2 sucks

Seriously I tried the one that "Meglvn" suggested and its delicious... It's GNC's Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60. I want to keep on drinking it and I look forward to it. Like you, Protein shakes have never appealed too me in fact, I' ve never had a Protein shake till this one and I love. Try it...

Hi Caryn and all I felt that a few times because I thought I had to burp but it kept going up.... I saw your tummy pics and they look painful I was just banded yesterday but would like to take pics to see what my scars look like...how long did you keep your bandages on?

Hi...my name is Mayra and I am 38 years old. I will be 39 on the 21st of August. I would really love to be healthy, fit and yes...skinny by 40 I have a six year old son ...he's the love of my life...My surgery is tomorrow- August 16th (today bc it's after 12 pm). Its not until 12:30 noon though I cannot eat or drink until after surgery...torture, lol. My starting weight was 225...currently I am 219... Good luck all!

Omgoodness...me too...I just want to be okay. To matters worse I just got a head ...cant stop sneezing and coughing, sore throat and suffy nose...all today. Dr. told me to drink a lot of water...now I cant stop pee'ing, lol...so nervous!

Hi Meglvn, I went out and bought the one you recommended and I start tomorrow...I wanted to ask you how you do yours...the bottle says 3 scoops and 12 ounces of milk...so for 1 scoop do you only use 4 ounces of liquid? Or do you add more liquid? Not sure...thanks

I was really expecting to be on a protein diet for at least a week or two....when I asked my doctor he told me it was not necessary? I asked around this forum and a lot of people are not required to diet. Go figure... I bought a chocolate and vanilla shake that was suggested here for afterwards...hoping my doctor doesn't a yucky tasting one Also, I was just given my surgery date on Friday the 12th for Tuesday surgery... Good luck and let's keep each other posted... And help one another through this life changing journey.

Nice to hear...I'll be banded on Tuesday and it's so refreshing to hear that you guys love your band... I know I will love my band too! Cannot wait to start losing and feel successful...
