Nysha, I understand, I am on the pre-op diet and it is hell! I keep messing up, but I get right back on it. Like the others said, it prepares us for the post-op way of eating. My surgery is on 9/27, so I am with you on this one.

I went to my last nutrition class the other day and some of the ladies said they were taking "Biotin" now to help prevent the hair loss. However, it makes your hair grow, not just prevent the loss. -

Yay, I am excited for you! When I got my approval date, I knew it was time to begin the food funeral (it has been a longggg funeral). It will end on Sept. 13, when I begin my liquid diet, however, yesterday, I tried to begin cutting back to 1200 calories a day, so that my mind can start the proceedings. My surgery date is Sept. 27, and like "Ducker" I have no fear, but much excitement.

Stop focusing on the negative thoughts that you are having. You made the right decision and you are gonna be fine!! Tell us what your procedure was like, are you in alot of pain? Are you walking/eating? How has it been thus far?

When I read your blog, I laughed so hard. I said, this lady has been in my house. You sounded just like me, between (home/church/work) -- Lord have mercy!! Don't get me wrong, my husband is great, but they can be very selfish at times, and especially when we are under pressure. You are in my prayers sister! This is one of the best things we could ever do for ourselves!
