@@bacon - I used to live near Doraville. Small world! Knoxville, near my new neck of the woods, is even better! Glad you got back home to the family!!

@@punkinvine - take care you you! Shingles are no joke and I pray for healing and comfort.

GOOD MORNING!!!! @@lisacaron - can't imagine getting that kind of call. I'm glad all is well and hope you were able to get a walk outside yesterday. @@CrissyBat - I get stuck on Water sometimes, it's the worst, and will slime and/or PB. Those of us posting here are gonna be a little different, we're all over a year out of lap band surgery. I have a friend that had a sleeve and she and I are slightly different in our experiences. Sorry I'm not more help. @@JustWatchMe - glad you are cutting yourself a break. You certainly deserve one! I hope you were able to find some peace and rest last night. @@2babutterfly - how are things, girlie?!? @@enjoythetime - missing you! @@bacon - hope your top secret mission is going well. @@punkinvine - looking forward to next time you pop in and post! Moving right along around here. Like @@JustWatchMe, I'm stressed about house hunting. We can't find one to meet our needs and are learning the art of patience. I need to settle some things as well, get some test results and talk to my lap band surgeon about the swallow test. I think it's all contributing to the funk. NO whining and no excuses, right?!? My plan is to go to liquids for a day or two to undo the damage I've done over the last couple of days. I am on a huge guilt trip for eating unhealthy and for eating when I wasn't hungry. I know better. Today I am going to listen to my body. I will eat/drink only when hungry, get my water & Protein in, and go from there. If I need solid food for dinner, I'll have some protein, probably eggs. We walked almost 5 miles outside last night. It was wonderful. Today is rain and storms, so exercise will be inside tonight. We'll do a Leslie Sansone video this evening. I will post tonight for accountability. Hold me to it, please.

Me too, @@JustWatchMe, I will do 2 shakes and a small dinner. As @@punkinvine said, "too much Easter"! Onward.... I'm still dealing with these stitches until Friday, so exercise is limited. I will get out and walk at least three miles this evening though. Hope you guys have a swell day. Except you, @@bacon, I hope you have a "less swell" day so that you can get some stuff through that tight band! Let's make it happen!!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! I'm so glad to see us all posting and encouraging!!!!! Doing the happy dance up in here!!!!! I'm well. We got in 2.5 miles of walking yesterday. It was a slower pace, but have to watch sweating on my stitches for now. I'm just glad to be back outside and active! Looked at a house this morning that's a no. Looking at another this afternoon. Maybe this will be the one! So far, prayers for clarity have certainly been answered. Praise God! Speaking of my Savior, happy Good Friday. Grateful for His sacrifice on my behalf. Today's plan: B-8 oz shake L-Atkins bar S-8 oz shake D-roast beef w/provolone 850c, 79p, 51nc Will try to get in some movement this evening. We're supposed to be stormy this evening, so we will see. Keep rocking the plan! I appreciate each one of you!

@@bacon - glad you're back and I hope all is well. Can't wait to hear how things go at the doc.

Hellooooo!!! Ended up looking at a house last night, thus the reason I didn't post. I ate OP, but didn't exercise. Third trip was a charm, the house is another no since my bedroom furniture won't fit. Ugh! Onward.... Today's plan: B-missed it, too busy L-P3 pkg S-8 oz shake w/fiber D-beefy rice skillet S-8 oz shake w/fiber 809c, 85p, 45nc I'm going to walk the neighborhood tonight if my shoulder/stitches will allow. It wasn't happening last night, but maybe tonight. Hope all is well with you guys!

Yeah for your healthy choices today!!! I'm SO glad to hear from you. Your prayers are very much appreciated. Please ask God to give peace & comfort to my Granny and family. As for the narcissist, I watched what one can do in a marriage...my father. While getting through the divorce was a nightmare due to his inflated and irrational ego, my mother would tell you she's much better off today. It's been nearly 20 years, so she's had time to heal and then spread her wings. You'll do the same! Rock that plan today, friend, and I'll do the same. I'll check back this evening for accountability.

@@JustWatchMe - you are not alone! How did yesterday go? Can you give me a plan for today? Just today. What will you eat and how/when will you move? I'm so sorry about the divorce mess. I know how that goes, I watched my mother go through it with my father (with whom I'm estranged). I am glad to hear the NP was positive, that your BP is down, and that you are armed with a plan. @@2babutterfly - missing you and your enthusiasm! @@punkinvine - hope all is well and you've found some help with your mom. @@enjoythetime - really missing your posts. When are you coming back to join us? @@bacon - thinking of you and whatever is going on with the family. Praying for peace. Today isn't going to be easy for me. We find out at 3pm the prognosis for my grandmother. I'm nervous. I'm also struggling with my stitches. It's ridiculous, but the four little things kept we awake a lot last night and are very sore today. I'm going to walk, but probably not as vigorous as I'm used to going. My plan: b-8 oz shake w/fiber l-yogurt w/fiber & granola d-shrimp scampi (trying a new recipe) s-8 oz shake w/fiber 778c, 80p, 30nc We are not alone in our struggles or in our journey. We have each other in this supportive capacity and should take every advantage of this tool. I'm here for you guys!! Shout out to @@ParaGirl, @@lisacaron, @kyrasgrandma...missing you all!

Hello!! Just got home from doc. The roller coaster continues! Four stitches in my shoulder to remove a lesion, my grandmother is having a PET scan now, results & prognosis tomorrow. I, however, am armed with an action plan: B-8 oz shake L-budding ham, boiled egg, & multigrain crackers S-8 oz shake D-leftover chili 754c, 80p, 39nc I've already done a 35 minute cardio video & will take a 3 mile walk this evening with the family. Gotta tone it down some, but NOT stop, til the stitches come out. Hope you guys are rocking it!!!

HEY THERE!!! What a roller coaster. My grandmother's biopsy on Friday brought devastating news. We then rebounded to Celebrate my sweet husband's birthday on Saturday and had some great family fun in Gatlinburg, trying to forget Friday's news. After three days of a high & low ride, I'm back. I'm emotional & overwhelmed, but trying to use it as motivation. Today's plan: B & L-Protein shakes w/fiber D-chili 819c, 109p, 33nc 72 oz Water 75 min of exercise So, there it is. I'm doing shakes for the added liquid, Protein, & Fiber today. I may do this for a few days per my NP. How are all of you????

@@enjoythetime - talk to your doc when you go about this. Maybe he/she can help you decide on a fill. I just had a barium swallow test and gotta admit that it was worth the piece of mind knowing all is well in there. Obviously, from your results, you know what you're doing. Go with your gut! (pun intended - ha!) I've already completed a 35 minute cardio video and will get in another 45 this evening. Not sure if we'll be able to walk outside, expecting rain later, but my husband and I will get our exercise via video or a walk outside. Today's plan: B-8 oz shake w/fiber L-yogurt w/fiber & yogurt S-8 oz shake w/fiber D-chicken & brown rice Atkins bar at some point 862c, 96p, 41nc and 72 oz Water Hope all is well with you guys. I'm still having a rough go of it, but staying on track with eating and exercise while everything else seems to be spinning....

Am I here all by myself??? Finished the day @ 920c, 88p, 36nc Headed out to walk in the 70* sunshine!

Hey, hey, hey!!! How is everyone? I mean REALLY? How are you? Post and let me know, please. I'm stressed. I am frustrated with house hunting. I have to have a bump removed from my shoulder and biopsied next week and it makes me nervous. A mass was found overnight in my grandmother's chest and is causing some serious issues for my 90 year old second mother. None of these on their own are such a big deal, but you pile them together and I'm just feeling antsy and upset. No whining and no excuses, right? I have neither for you because I'm channeling my stress into exercise. I'm eating on plan. Allowing myself to do anything else would only compound the stress with guilt. I don't need it. My plan: B-8 oz shake w/fiber L-yogurt w/fiber & granola S-8 oz shake w/fiber D-2 eggs & 2 bacons, grits 768c, 84p, 25nc I changed up dinner last night because I got a lead on some fresh eggs. I went and got some yesterday, so postponed our Breakfast for dinner to tonight. I hope the darn things are good, I paid $4 for a dozen! Ouch! I threw together a swedish meatball dinner with those homeamade meatballs I put together last week. I made 96 meatballs at exactly one ounce each, cooked them, and froze them in "dinner for us" sized portions. Once again, planning ahead saves the day. The gravy recipe was easy, low cal, and low carb. VICTORY! Okay, I'm rambling. I'll check back later in hopes of hearing how you are. Have a swell day and take care of you.

Harlem Globetrotters were a great treat for our little girl last night. It was fun! Home today, thank goodness. I've got a plan and I'll stick to it. B-8 oz shake L-yogurt w/granola S-8 oz shake D-2 eggs, 2 bacons, grits 860c, 80p, 37nc 72 oz Water & 75+ minutes of cardio I hope it's as nice today as it was yesterday; I'll walk outside this evening with the family. Movin' & groovin' today, hope you are too!! Take care of you and I'll check back later.

Well, finished the day at: 874c, 83p, 42nc 65 strong cardio minutes & 80 oz Water We are off to take the little one to see the Harlem Globetrotters. Should be a great evening. Back to reality after a super busy weekend. I'd love to say that I was all OP, but it's not the case. I let being busy derail me to an extent, but it was all my doing. No excuses and certainly no whining. Today is a new day and I have a plan. It was a great weekend. We completed a six hour new member course at the church we're attending. Lots of good information! We also met friends for dinner. My husband and I aren't very social, but have made some friends recently in TN and decided to get more involved. We had a great time and were so glad we did it! I'll get back to my exercise routine today. As soon as I'm finished with my chores, I will get in at least a 30 minute exercise video. Meals are planned and prepped: B-8 oz shake w/fiber L-yogurt w/granola & Fiber S-8 oz shake w/fiber D-amish chicken casserole 714c, 71p, 38nc I hope all of you have a swell Monday. I'll check back later. Take care of you!

@@Bandista - I'm just loving how you're getting in touch with yourself! I'm learning some things about myself after I read and think about your posts. Thank you for sharing!!! Me too, friend, me too. I still struggle at each meal. Heck, I'll do it even with a Protein shake. I have to will myself to stop at the 8 oz mark when I know I've got the other 8 in the fridge. Each meal, I portion out and then wait after I've finished to see if I'm battling demons or still truly hungry. 99% of the time it's the first. I'm also trying to get into the habit of leaving something on my plate, most of the normies I eat with do this and I want to eat as much like them as possible! Sure wish I had an OA in town... @@bacon - top secret missions now, huh!?! Way to go on splitting that sandwich! VICTORY! @@ParaGirl - eating off plan always leaves me feeling bad too. I think it's a combination of the junk making me physically yucky, but also the emotional feelings of remorse or guilt or something. Glad you're back on track today! Heaven forbid you have time to make copies, plan lessons, etc. @@2babutterfly - hope that camping trip is wonderful! @@enjoythetime - missing your posts, hope all is well. @@lisacaron - what a beautiful list! Sounds like you're one lucky lady! Today has gone according to plan. My husband is sick with a cough and cold, so I know he won't want to exercise tonight. I went ahead and did an hour-long butt kicking today. Jessica Smith has replaced Leslie Sansone for now and she's a little more intense. Add the sore arm from the tetanus shot and those spiffy new ankle weights, and I got my tail worked today! Eating plan: B- 8oz shake w/fiber L-yogurt w/fiber & 2 tbl homemade granola S-8 oz shake w/fiber D-homemade pizza 772c, 79p, 49nc 72 oz Water & exercise completed I just made 96 meatballs for the freezer. I've seen some recipes lately that use them, so this way I've got them made-up and pre-cooked to make life a little easier. I froze them in meal-sized servings, so I hope it works. You guys keep rocking! I gain so much insight and inspiration for your posts. Thank you for sharing this journey with me. I'll check back later, Take care of you.

Exercise, check. I literally posted here, got off my butt, and got it done. I did another 30 minutes tonight with my husband. food, check. I altered my plan a little to try to drop those net carbs a little and my final stats are: 774c, 74p, 51nc. Water, check. 72 oz of water with lemon plus 16 oz of shakes. So, ending another day strong. I hope you all are doing the same. I look forward to reading your posts and hearing about your WLS blessings. Let me hear from you.

@@Bandista - way to go on the hunger yesterday; taking a formerly "panicky" thing and tuning in to it for a positive outcome! That's a victory for sure! @@JustWatchMe - I'll be jealous of the panniculectomy. I had a breast reduction a few years back and talked to the surgeon about the panniculectomy too. I chickened out. Kudos for making it a motivational tool! I'm using a tattoo as my motivation lately. I've always wanted a dogwood bloom and told my husband that I'm going to do it when I reach goal. I don't care of I'm too old or will be judged for it, I'm gonna do it for me! @@punkinvine - Good to see you posting! Take care of yourself. @@bacon - HOLLA!?! Where you be? Today is an at-home day for me, thank goodness. It's cold and rainy and I'm thankful to be in sweats and nursing my SORE arm. I got a tetanus shot at the doc yesterday. They told me it would we red, swollen, sore, but I really thought they were exaggerating. Shots don't bother me and I expected this to be like a flu shot. Wrong! My plan: B-8 oz shake w/fiber L-yogurt w/fiber & granola S-8 oz shake w/fiber D-vegetable Soup 967c, 85p, 60nc I am gonna get in my five miles today. Gotta admit, I've used my sore arm as my excuse this morning. I will get off my butt and get at least 30 minutes (2 miles) in before lunch. I'll do the remaining 3 miles with my family this evening. Today I am thankful for my new healthy outlook. I didn't panic about seeing a new doc or what the stats would be at my appointment yesterday. The scale showed a loss, my blood pressure was 110/71, and my doc told me how healthy I am. His exact words when we were talking about my health for a 44 year old woman, "You look great." BOOM! What a MAJOR change from a few years ago!!!! If I was having to see a new doc back in the day, I would either not go or get myself all worked up about it. Praise God for the blessing of my band!!! 45 minute brisk walk tonight, so I can check off my plan for today. One WLS thing I'm grateful for today...we were looking at a home under construction this evening and there were no stairs out the front door. My husband propped a board up to use as a ramp. When I asked him if it would hold me, he bounced on it and reminded me that I now weigh less than he does. This is major as he's a very active, very fit guy and I LOVE the fact that he now outweighs me by at least 20 pounds! WOOT!!
