Okay, just finished my walk. I stuck to the plan today. Another one in the books! Hope you're all doing well today. Looking forward to hearing from you, @@bacon!

Love it!! @@bacon - post tonight to let us know you stuck to the plan. No going it alone for today. Post tonight, deal?

@@bacon - can't beat you up, but can try to encourage. Can u give us a plan for TODAY? One day, today, let's do it! @@JustWatchMe - we grilled buffalo wings on Saturday & my rings are still tight. I'm gonna up my Water a little. Kudos for realizing what it is & not letting it define your day.

Gooooooood Morning!!! It's gonna be a great Monday! I just completed a 30 minute butt-kicking. I'm glad it's finished and I'll look forward to a walk around the hood tonight with my husband. I've got meals planned and prepped for today. My plan is: B - 8 oz shake w/fiber L - greek yogurt w/fiber & granola S - 8 oz shake w/fiber D - cola chicken (easy, low carb /calorie) & Atkins bar 774c, 104p, 33nc 72 oz Water & 75 minutes exercise @@2babutterfly - glad your weekend was wonderful! Our little one spent the night with a friend on Saturday, so we ended up with a date night. It was great! @@JustWatchMe - I'm tickled to read that your body feels better today. How cool is that?!? @@ElectricBoogaloo - hope you are rocking the plan! @@punkinvine - hope you had a relaxing, drama-free weekend. @@bacon - where you be??? @@enjoythetime - missing you around here! Off to get my chores done. After working outside the home for the last 17 years, this staying at home gig is pretty cool! I do miss teaching, some days, but am so thankful to be at home during this season of life. Please pray for my Granny today as pallative care begins. I hope it brings some calmness for my mom (who is rocked to the core right now) and peace and comfort for my Granny. Thank you! <3 I'll check back later. Have a swell day and take care of you.

HELLO!!! I've been MIA over the weekend and looks like many others have too. While I wasn't posting here, I was busy enjoying my family and even a date night last night. I stayed totally OP over the whole weekend, the first in quite a while. I posted my challenge on Monday for seven straight OP days and I did it! I've got meals planned out for the week and groceries in the house, so I've got myself set up for another great seven days! @justwachme - hope your busy weekend was wonderful. Sounds like a lot of fun stuff!!

@@JustWatchMe - Wow, what a post. "Without food, without drugs, without alcohol. This is serious stuff for an addict to tackle." YES!! While it's not alcohol for me, it is certainly food and could have been written about my relationship with it. I could have easily slipped into a relationship with the other two, I steered away out of fear of addiction. Just know that you are NOT alone. Thank you for putting it all out there, it took courage and strength, both traits I admire in you. I made yesterday's goals, including exercise. Not my favorite thing, but I got it done. Can you feel me rolling my eyes? Today: B - 8 oz shake w/fiber L - Quest bar S - 8 oz shake w/fiber D - homemade pizza (making my own crust and sauce to control portions & ingredients!!) 813c, 88p, 38nc 72 oz Water & 1 hour of exercise I've already conquered a 30 minute Jessica Smith video and plan to walk the hood with the husband this evening. I'll check back later. Take care of you.

@@JustWatchMe - 3am?!? I sure hope you can go to bed early tonight. Hang in there today, I hope the headache stays away. @@2babutterfly - I'm totally jealous you guys are getting away this weekend. Our little one is talking about spending the night with a friend Saturday, so we may get a much-needed date night. All is well here. I've got three days under my belt and my personal challenge of 7 in a row is keeping me on track. My plan for today: B-8 oz shake w/fiber L-greek yogurt w/fiber & 2 tbl granola S-P3 turkey w/almonds D-rosemary lemon chicken S-8 oz shake w/fiber 787c, 89p, 28nc 72 oz Water & 45 minutes of cardio Talk to me about your choice of Protein shake...I'd like to hear what you drink and the nutritional info on it. I currently use Syntrax Matrix Milk Chocolate- 120 calories, 3 carbs (1 Fiber & 2 sugars), 23 Proteins and Syntrax Matrix Mint Cookie - 110 calories, 6 carbs (0 fiber, 2 sugars), 23 proteins. I like that brand because it has no aspertame and I can order it reasonably online. I'm pondering trying the Quest powder. Anybody use it? I'll post later to confirm that I stuck to the plan. Have a wonderful day, my friends. Take care of you.

Good evening!! Got in 80 cardio minutes today, so I met that personal goal! I ate OP & got in all of my Water too. Yeah me!! Today's stats: 924c, 108p, 31nc I got hungry mid afternoon, so I ate 2 eggs & 5 pecan halves. That made all the difference and jacked up my Protein too. Hope you've all had a stellar day.

@@2babutterfly - the house was a no. Another no. Ugh! @@JustWatchMe - hope you had a blast at Neil Diamond last night! So, I did two days of liquids and I'm moving on. Posting for accountability...ate OP today and got in all of my Water. Did cardio video this morning, but went to see a house during our evening exercise time. How's everybody??

You bet!! Jump right in!!

@@2babutterfly - hang in there, girl, that 1 is coming!! Can't wait to do the happy dance with you! I'm thinking liquids again today (except for the bar, which keeps me sane) and then liquids until dinner time for the remainder of the week. I like the feeling of being back in control when I try something like this and it also keeps Protein up and calories down. Thoughts? @@JustWatchMe - enjoy that concert with your friend!! Dreary and rainy here today, but I'm not gonna let that stop me. I've already done a 30 minute cardio video and my husband and I will walk three miles with Leslie Sansone tonight. I'm already 24oz into my 72oz of Water for today. I've got meals planned as follows: 10am - 8 oz shake w/fiber 12pm - 8 oz shake w/fiber 2pm - 8 oz shake w/fiber 4pm - 8 oz shake w/fiber 6pm - egg drop soup & Atkins bar 801c, 109p, 32nc I'll post later for accountability with food and exercise. Hope you all have a stellar day!! Take care of you.

Okay, successful day here, I hope the same happened for you. Stats: 821c, 109p, 34nc I ate according to plan with the addition of an Atkins bar tonight. I needed something and that sounded good and worked into my plan. I had my 72 oz of Water. No exercise this evening due to my daughter's kickball game, but I cleaned house like a maniac this morning, so that counts for something! Tomorrow's plan will be the same as today's except I'll add a morning cardio video and an evening walk. Gotta get back on that exercise! How is everybody?!? Who is in for the 7 day challenge?

Happy Monday!!! Where are my peeps?!? I had a super busy weekend and am guessing most of us did. The weather was gorgeous and we certainly enjoyed it. I hope all of you had a great weekend too. Today's plan: B-8 oz shake w/fiber L-8 oz shake w/fiber S-8 oz shake w/fiber D-egg drop Soup S-8 oz shake w/fiber 661c, 97p, 20nc I kind of liked my day of liquids on Friday and so, I'm doing it again today. I know the calories are low, but it won't hurt me a bit after the weekend damage I did. Look who's back!!! I'm glad to see you posting, @@HealthyNewMe! @@2babutterfly - glad to see you kept us going over the weekend. @@JustWatchMe - happy birthday!! I hope it's the best year yet!! @@2babutterfly - can you get in a walk or video today?? All is well here. Today's plan: B-8 oz shake w/fiber L-Quest bar S-8oz shake w/fiber D-meatballs 736c, 79p, 34nc *calories & Protein warrant an extra shake or protein snack if needed I'll have 72oz Water & get in a walk with my husband this evening. Okay, today is a wrap! I finished at 787c, 110p, 34nc. I didn't exercise because we had my daughter's kickball game and I'm in a funk. It was fun and a good way to lift my spirits. Got the info on my Granny today. Cancer in lung, liver, & upper right quadrant. No options really since she's 90. Hospice will get involved asap. My heart is breaking, she's a huge part of my world. Please pray for her peace and comfort. I'm going to go chill. I'm OP and trying to see it as keeping myself in the best possible health in case I have to fight a battle in the future. Have a great evening and take care of you.

@@bacon - my doc has me on liquids-only for 12-24 hours after vomiting. I determine how long based on tightness due to irritation. I got stuck yesterday & lost my pork chop in the battle. I'd rather do that than be in such pain and risk damage. So, I'm on liquids today and that prevents a binge or overeating. Just a thought...
-
You bet! I got it from: http://m.allrecipes.com/recipe/45515/restaurant-style-egg-drop-soup/?page=0The reviews on the recipe page give some great tips & variations. The only thing I do differently is I do the cornstarch thing first and eggs last. I drizzle my egg through a slotted spoon so its stringy like I get in the restaurant. I'll also use dry chives if I don't have fresh. Green onion works too. Easy peasy and so good!!

Pork chops are a now a thing of my past, like roast. Not worth it! I'm going to liquids today. I am super tight from last night's episode, so I think that's best. B-8 oz shake w/fiber L-greek yogurt w/fiber S-8 oz shake w/fiber D-8 oz shake w/fiber S-8 oz shake w/fiber 719c, 105p, 30nc I think I'll make some egg drop soup today. I've got a great recipe that's low cal and low carb. It always helps with liquid days if I have that on hand too. I'll have 72oz of Water & some form of exercise. If it's not raining, we'll walk outside again. It was great last night, 72 & sunny. I'll take it!! So.....what's your plan for today?
-
Well, change of plans this evening. My planned pork chop got stuck a few bites into dinner. It got ugly. I had to wait and just now had a Quest bar. My band is still super tight, so I'm done for the night. Today's totals: 695c, 89p, 29nc. I did have 72oz of Water & walked 3 miles tonight. Yeah me! Sounds like we are all doing our thing. @@punkinvine - thinking of you and the shingles. Take it easy! I'll check in tomorrow morning. Have a dandy evening! Take care of you.

@@JustWatchMe - step all up on my toes, why dontcha?!? What a thought to extend the same grace to ourselves as we would someone else. What perspective that we may not be perfect, but our choices are a heck of a lot better than they used to be. BAM, right between the eyes for me. Thank you for the reality check!!

AMEN!!!! Boy, am I glad you're back here. Your perspective always makes me pause for reflection. @@lisacaron - great news about the stress! Send those vibes my way, will ya?!?

GOOOOD MORNING!!! Let's take today and make it happen!!! I didn't get exercise in last night, let myself slip into a pity party. I did eat totally as planned though, so I'll take it since I fought head hunger all stinkin' day long. Today's plan: B-8 oz shake w/fiber L-Rev wrap and greek yogurt S-8 oz shake w/fiber D-pork chop 828c, 108p, 34nc As you can see from those stats, I've cut net carbs and increased Protein in an attempt to boost weight loss. My NP suggested I try it and see if it helps with this last 20-30 pounds I want to lose. I've got to quit fooling around and make it happen if I really, truly want to see my goal weight. I could actually do it by fall if I'd get serious.
-
I stay under 1000 per day and then have one day/week that's 1200-1400. This seems to boost metabolism and keep me on a losing streak. The only thing I fight is letting that one day turn into two or three... I needed solid food so I planned it and made it happen today. I had 2 eight ounce shakes with added Fiber powder, an Oscar Mayer P3 (great coupons and sure do like those for lunch!), and a bacon & egg pita for dinner. I had 710c, 76p, 15nc. I drank 72 oz Water and will get in some form of exercise this evening. How are all of you????

Familiar with Savannah too. I went to college nearby and spent a lot of time there. Great place to visit!!
