@@bacon - yes...eating too fast, eating foods that should make me stuck, etc. It's an addiction for me, illness, plain & simple. Kudos on that walk!!! @@2babutterfly - have fun, girlie!! We had reservations in Myrtle Beach for the next five days. I just called and canceled due to this hurricane situation. Can you guys feel me pouting??

Good morning!! @@punkinvine - praying for your family. Like you, I like to spend my day moving around. Being home now (staying home after 17 years of teaching) affords me time and opportunity for new projects. The new house has plenty of potential there! I'm off to volunteer at a local assisted living facility. I spend Wednesday mornings playing bingo or cooking with the residents. It's fun! Hope all of you have a peaceful happy day. Take care of you.

Hi all! Hope everyone is doing well today. It's pouring rain here. The cat is already curled up in my husband's recliner, I think I might do the same in mine. I sure hope this rain brings in some more fall-like weather. We've been way too warm lately. @@bacon, glad the fluids are going down. Maybe you get irritated around that band and need the occasional change back to liquids. Any chance of that?? @@2babutterfly, hope all is going well. @@punkinvine, I'm jealous of your fall weather. I'm hoping this rain is ushering in cooler weather, as the meteorologists say it is. @@JustWatchMe, let us hear from you. <3

Praying. How about some warm broth? @@2babutterfly - we found a house! We closed in July. Doing some remodeling & updating, but it's a great home for us. How did you do today? I had to change up breakfast and lunch, but no snacking or baking. I had yogurt for breakfast, made a tortilla with cheese for lunch, and had the planned dinner. We took a long, hot walk tonight and I got all of my Water. One day at a time.

Good Morning! It's Monday and feels like a clean slate. I'm gonna do an egg for Breakfast, yogurt I with granola for lunch, a little one pot spaghetti for dinner. I'll get in my Water, as usual. My struggle hasn't been how much I eat at one meal, but eating around the band by snacking in between and too much baking of sweets. I'll not bake or snack today. I'll take a walk through the neighborhood tonight. We've been walking and that's a challenge since it's SO hilly in our new neighborhood. It's a great workout by the time we do our two miles. I still want to get back to three miles a day, but it's gonna take time and endurance with the hills. What's your plan for today?

@@punkinvine - I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. I know that kind of loss as my Granny, who was like a mom to me, passed away in August. May God provide all of the peace and comfort you need. @@bacon - you and me both. Can we post here, brutally honest, and try to help each other get it in gear? @@2babutterfly and @@JustWatchMe - you'll join us, right? I don't know about you, but I miss all of you guys and I need the support.

Sitting here eating my yogurt and thinking about you guys. I miss you! I'd love to say I'm at goal weight and stuck to my plan. However, that's not the case. I've been on a six month roller coaster, emotionally and physically. Today, and I'm only doing a day at a time, I'm on plan. How are you guys? Anybody need some accountability? I could sure use some! @@JustWatchMe - how did the summer internship go for your daughter? @@bacon - how's your father? @@punkinvine - have thing settled down in your world? @@2babutterfly - is school back in full swing?

Hey, ladies!!! Glad to see some peeps posting! Hope everyone had a nice weekend & happy Father's Day. All is well here. Just got the kitchen cleaned up, a box packed, and a couple of Protein Shakes ready for tomorrow. Busy time around here. Closing on July 10, so trying to line up utilities, movers, contractor for some remodeling, etc. can't wait to get settled!! Hope everyone is going strong!!!

I'm here and GLAD to see somebody posting here! I miss this thread when we're not on it! All is well. We have a contract on a house and that's helped with my eating. When I'm nervous, I can't eat and I'm def down a few pounds. I'm getting in my Water and we're doing an hour walk most evenings. I won't say I haven't eaten mexican or sweet treats along the way, but that's life. Happy Anniversary!! Glad to hear you guys had a great trip!! Maybe we can get our accountability peeps cranked back up. Come on guys...the good, bad, & ugly, right?!?

Goooooood Morning!!! I ate OP, drank my Water, and walked for an hour last night. I've felt like poo over the last few days due to unhealthy food choices, but I can almost feel it getting better with three healthy days under my belt. Hope all is well with all of you! Hey, hey, hey!!! Sorry I've been MIA for the last few days. I have been SUPER busy with ending my daughter's school year and then caring for her as she's covered from head to toe in poison ivy. I finally gave up on Sunday and took her to a walk-in clinic where we got a steroid for relief. I'm not a big believer in meds, so that was a big step for me. I couldn't stand watching her suffer for another moment, the benadryl and calamine lotion just wasn't getting it. Thankfully, she is finally seeing some improvement. We looked at another house on Saturday, but it was a "no". Man, am I getting discouraged with house hunting! I'd love to tell you that my food has been on plan, but it would be a lie. I did get myself back on track yesterday, eating clean, drinking Water, and took a walk. I plan to repeat today. One day at a time. @@JustWatchMe - glad to hear the news about your daughter's job!! How great that you gals will get to walk at lunch together. Will you also get to carpool like you were hoping? @@2babutterfly - as I've shared, I recently became a stay at home mom/wife after 17 years of teaching. My advice about eating is to plan your day and stick to it. I plan either the evening before or first thing in the morning. I do a monthly dinner menu, so I know well in advance what's for dinner and can then plan Breakfast and lunch around that. As long as I plan it, I usually stick to it. I'm more thankful for you guys than you know. It's therapeutic for me to read your posts and then to post here myself. I don't feel so alone on this journey. Thank you for that! Goooooood Morning and TGIF!! Today's meals are planned, Water will be consumed, and I hope the rain holds off so we can get in a walk this evening. What's up for this weekend? We are headed to a national park for some biking tomorrow, so it should be a good day. We'll come home and grill out some chicken wings. Church and more grilling out on Sunday. I'm trying a new recipe, "Fiesta Lime Chicken". I'll pair it with a simple, delicious black bean dish that we enjoy. Summer cooking going on around here!! Hope you have a swell day and fabulous weekend! Take care of you!

Hello!!! What a wonderfully busy weekend we had. It was full of exercise with lots of kayaking. My food wasn't perfect, but better than it could have been. Like you, @@JustWatchMe, I'm making a point to leave food on my plate. All is well today. My daughter is wrapping up the school year, so my husband and I had a lunch date while we could. Tomorrow is awards day and then a half day on Thursday and she's finished fifth grade. Time flies! I hope all is well with everybody here. Let us hear from you!!!

@@2babutterfly - I brown a pound of ground beef with some onion and green pepper, add 2 cans diced tomatoes and a can of green peas, a cup & a half of cooked elbow macaroni (I use Barilla high protein plus pasta), salt, pepper, & heavy celery salt. My mom cooked it when we were growing up & it was a favorite. With a side salad or fruit, it makes an easy dinner & reheats very well for lunch the next day.

HELLLLLOOOOOOO, PEEPS!!! Today is a great day to be on plan and feeling strong! Like @@2babutterfly said, GAME ON!!! Today's plan is to do four 8 oz shakes with Fiber and a small slice of meatloaf for dinner. I stuck to all shakes yesterday, only had four, in hopes of undoing weekend damage. I got in 72 oz Water & a 45 minute walk yesterday and plan to repeat both today. I'm looking forward to a three day weekend. We're planning a kayaking adventure on Saturday and I can't wait. I love how losing this weight has opened up new experiences for me. I've got lots of grilling planned, so eating should be on track. I'm going to try to not take a step backwards this weekend and stay nice and active too. What are your weekend plans? Let us hear from you! Have a swell day and take care of you. Okay, @@bacon, I feel MUCH better now. Like @@JustWatchMe, I couldn't figure out what in the world had happened. Glad it wasn't our thread and you'll still be here. @@JustWatchMe - the scale makes me nuts! Sorry you're not seeing the loss yet, but you know it will come. It's so frustrating, I get it. Kudos on the small portions, leaving food, and no crapcorn & alcohol. It all sounds so positive!! Off to continue house cleaning...

Today is to get OP, get in my Water, & move more. I'm gonna do shakes today, perhaps all day, and try to undo some of the weekend's damage. Ugh!! @@bacon - glad to see you on here and super thankful that you're recovering from the accident. Take care of yourself~ @@JustWatchMe - I was thinking about you earlier and betting you're super excited. I'm so glad your girl will be home and everybody back in the nest. Enjoy the time with them! BTW, I would probably fall over and die without mexican food!! I just got home from running some errands and am going to have a shake. I've got meals planned for today, will get in my Water, and walk for an hour with the husband this evening. You guys have an awesome day and take care of you!
