Butterfly-nothing worse than reflux! Let me know what you decide to do. When I had the same experience, I had to go to Clear liquids, then to creamy, then to soft, etc. It was a week-long process and I still had to have a little taken out. It's such a fine-tuning! Kudos to you for listening to your body and doing what works for you. Watchme-yep, me too. Any thoughts I've had of a tiny fill just left the building! Bacon-stay safe today. Meals planned, Water will be consumed, exercise will get done. FYI for those interested in my doc reducing my water...stu into his recommended 64 oz & no reflux. Upped it yesterday to test the waters (just because I'm like that), and had reflux last night. Will stick to 64 today. ???? For accountability, I'll be back later to post and check on you guys. Have a dandy day!!

nailpro00 - how'd you do today??? Glad you had a plan and posted it. That's what this thread is all about. bacon - where do you live? I'm in NE TN and it's cold and snowy here. We moved from SW GA in May, so winter weather is all new and fun! Sorry about your rough day. How can I pray for you? 2babuttery - how are you doing after that fill? Proud of you for being ready for liquids, that makes it so much easier! enjoythetime, punkinvine, justwatchme - would love to hear how you're doing too! All is well here. Allowed myself to go to 1000 calories yesterday with a treat. Planned and counted, so I'm good with that. Went out to lunch with my daughter and had a major victory. Split a lunch item with her and made myself leave a little on the plate. That's a huge win in my food-crazed, compulsive eating world. All Water is in and we walked a 4 mile video this evening. I've had +/- 768 calories today, so right on track. I had to guesstimate the eating out, but aimed high rather than low, so should be fine. Meals are planned for tomorrow and I'll roll with it. Keep it up, everybody and let me hear from you!!

2babutterfly - I'm gonna try to find that jerky. Thanks for sharing!! bacon - way to go on committing to do a 5k!! I walked one a few years ago and was glad I could check that off my to-do list. nailpro - victory on not sharing those snacks! glad it's been a great day! I've eaten OP, even fixed a FF/SF dessert for my valentines and it was good. I love not having any guilt when I put it into my fitness pal and stay in my caloric range. Win!! For accountability, just completed the 3 mile walk I committed to earlier today. Making it happen!! Have a splendid evening!

Hey, everybody!! Glad to hear neither if you have been hurt falling on ice. That's scary stuff! I fell on ice about 15 years ago, broke my leg and ankle, 8 surgeries, and a LONG nightmare. It gives me the willies thinking about you guys falling. All is well here. Had a major victory myself yesterday. DH walked in with leftover food porn (won't post so I don't trigger anybody & cause them to stumble) from his office. I didn't touch it. Not gonna touch it. I made a low sugar/low fat sweet treat for us today, logged today's food plan into my fitness pal, and will rock & roll. I'm working on my first tumbler if Water and will get it all in today. Like some of you, exercise is my struggle. I've gotten in 5 walking miles each day for the last few days and I'd like to keep it up. I'll do at least three today and would ask you all to hold me to it. I'll report back in when it's done. Keep working the plan. Keep celebrating the victories, regardless of how big or small. I love your encouragement and enthusiasm!!! Happy Valentine's Day!!

I guess every doc has a different theory. My last doc told me to drink as much as I can and now this doc wants me back down to 64 a day. His thought is that too much will put stress on the pouch (stretching) and flush out too many vitamins/minerals when doing it on a consistent basis. He also wants me to count the 16 oz of protein shakes as liquid. He's trying to address my occasional reflux too, which he says he sees in banders that drink too much water. We'll see...

So..,,what's the plan for today? I've got meals planned and prepped. Protein will be on target, calories will be low, Water will be 64+ oz. (Up until the doc visit, I was doing 100 oz a day and he wants me to back it down to 64 oz.) Exercise is already a check! I did a 3 mile Leslie Sansone video since my little one has basketball tonight. Making it happen!! How about you guys? Plan for the day? Let me hear from you!

Butterfly-thanks for the info. I agree that it's probably a good idea. I have a HIGH deductible insurance plan, so will have to pay up front. Any idea on a ballpark cost?

Saw the new doc. Jury is still out on how I feel about him. He seemed to not really listen and just dismissed a lot of my questions. He didn't really even let me explain about the reflux, just jumped ahead of me and and told me he's going to order a barium swallow test. When I questioned him, he told me that we need a baseline anyway. Has anyone had one of these tests? If so, will you share?

@punkinvine I too have bouts with acid reflux. In fact, I've had trouble the last two nights. Mine happens in the wee hours of the morning, usually around 4 or 5. Like you, I'm not sure why it happens. My band is in its sweet spot and I don't have any other issues. The reflux isn't a constant thing either, it happens sporadically. I don't eat a bite after 6pm and I drink my last glass of Water between 7 and 8 to flush my pouch, per my surgeon. I'm going to my new lap band doc today and will ask for us.

@@nailpro00 send friend request via myfitnesspal Exercise....CHECK! Exciting news! I got in to see a local lap band surgeon, they called to confirm that he'll take me on as a patient and I see him tomorrow. For those that don't know, this has been a struggle since I moved from GA to TN in May. This is a victory!!

Well, HEEELLLLOOOOO, ladies!! I've been keeping up with your posts, just haven't posted myself. It's been a roller coaster ride of busyness (is that even a word?!?) and illness. My DH and DD were both sick, but are back on the mend now. Thankfully, I seemed to have dodged it and have stayed on track through it. The only thing I dropped was the exercise, but I picked it back up last night. It's always the dang exercise that's the first to go....UGH! @@Bandista How did your exercise go? Did you make it happen? I got my exercise in yesterday and ate OP. I've got today planned, will get in my Water, will do an exercise video at some point. I'll report back when exercise is complete. Hope all of you have a stellar day!!

@@enjoythetime what did you guys do for exercise? A video? We do the walking videos and my daughter always jumps in. Isn't it funny how they'll voluntarily do it?!? All is well here. Ate out yesterday, not sure about the calories. I did get all of my Water. Today I'm home, totally OP, & will do a video tonight. I love hearing about all of the moving and shaking going on around here!!!! We are making it happen one day at a time!!!

You got this!! Meals, Water, exercise are planned and you'll make it happen. Good luck today. Meals, water, exercise planned here too. I stopped and had a "fancy" decaf coffee this cold morning, a nice treat that's documented in my fitness pal. Game on!!! How is everybody?

@enjoythetime I didn't exercise much, if any, during my weight loss either. However, I can tell lately that it's going to be necessary to knock out these last few pounds and to keep them off. I'm guessing my age is finally playing a factor. UGH! I stay under 1000 calories a day and usually more like 800. I don't really do it intentionally, but am usually satisfied there. I make sure I get 85+ grams of Protein daily and try to limit carbs. You'd think the weight would just fall off, but I'm having to work for it recently.

Hi, everyone!! @@JustWatchMe - My weekend was TOO loose. Ugh! I did get in some walking, but not enough to compensate for what went into my mouth. My weakness is sweets. I won't say anymore (food porn) so that I don't cause someone else to slip. I will count it as a cheat day, that turned into two, and move on. Yesterday was right back on track. I met all of my daily goals for Protein, Water (had extra trying to flush out the weekend damage), calories were right around 800, and did a walking video last night. I plan to repeat today. I have meals planned and already prepped. I'll get my water in and exercise later today. How's everyone else? I would LOVE to hear from you. Do we need a roll call????

@JustWatchMe 14 flights of stairs?!? You go get 'em!!! Way to go! I'm on track for eating today. Had all of my Water and then some. Got in an exercise video tonight. All is well! I tried cooking Chinese for the second time ever. I consider myself a pretty good cook, but I tried several years ago and it was a fail. Tonight's meal was a success and much healthier than it would have been in a restaurant. Victory! I got the recipes from a food blogger that I follow and her stuff is always good. That helps! Hope everybody is doing well. I LOVE hearing all about your successes, so please let me hear from you.
