    @@2babutterfly - I had enough of the emotional, and literal, roller coaster ride with the scale. My husband put it somewhere out of my sight & reach. I now weigh only monthly at the doc. For me it works, allows me to celebrate little NSVs. You do what works for you, just don't let it get you down. Let's celebrate eating clean and hitting the gym! YEAH YOU!!!!

    @@bacon - gotta admit I'm a little jealous of your time as a couple. Enjoy!! @@JustWatchMe - hope those knees let up soon. I know your pain. Hang in there and take care of you. @@ParaGirl - kudos for having a plan for the movies. I ordered free samples of Quest bars and am looking forward to trying them.

    @@enjoythetime - SOOOOO proud of you! It was a tough day, but you took care of yourself. You took breaks as needed, you fed your body well, and you enjoyed family time with no guilt of a treat. Holy moly, you're rocking this thing, girly! Keep up the great work, you're an inspiration to me!! BTW, the comment from your son cracks me up. Sounds just like something my daughter would say. She's my conscience most of the time with her comments!

    Helloooooo!!??!! I'm feeling kinda lonely on the board this morning. Where are you???? My plan for today: B - 8 oz Protein shake w/ Fiber L- yogurt w/ granola & fiber S - 8 oz Protein Shake w/ fiber D - salad w/ chicken, chick peas, egg, & homemade dressing 72 oz Water 1100 c, 89 p, 69 nc I just finished a 35 minute video and will do a 3 mile walk tonight with the family. Hope everyone is having a dandy day!

    Made it through til dinner. Ate 6 oz of meatloaf since I was belly hungry and 4 oz didn't do it. I just finished a 45 minute butt-kicking (did 40 cardio minutes this morning too), and I've had all my Water. Oh, the victory over my obstacle this afternoon is sweet!! Today's totals: 1034 c, 94 p, 50 nc I hope you guys are rocking it today! @@bacon - how'd it go??

    @@enjoythetime - Sliming...the joy. I have more trouble eating and drinking and it seems tight when I've got drainage. When in doubt, my NP tells me to go to clears for 24 hrs, to liquids/creamies for a couple of days, and has me take a prescription liquid (carafate) that helps with inflammation. It works. How about an expectorant (mucinex) for the drainage?

I am thrilled that you got on here to share. I'm glad that you're talking to us and letting us help and hold you accountable. I'm also glad you recognize that the scale is detrimental. We've had this discussion before and I shared that it will kill my joy to step on that darn thing. I'm going to weigh monthly at my doc, got my new nurse to agree to chart it for me too. I'm sure yours will do the same. I will check here throughout the day to make sure you're on track, doing what you said you would do. @@enjoythetime - I admire your strength and willpower to recognize the treat for what it was and walk away. I'm going to hold you to not weighing until next week. @@JustWatchMe - I wondered about you and the FA meeting. After some digging into it yesterday, I figured out it wasn't for me either and I didn't even go to a meeting. I think it's admirable that you went and tried a meeting. I'm sorry about your mom's anger, that can't be easy. Kudos for you going to the doc to take care of those knees so that you can exercise. Making it happen!! I have prayed for each of you this morning. I hope you have a peaceful, happy day. Thank you for sharing, for encouraging, for kicking butt when needed. I so admire the strength and courage demonstrated in your posts. You are all amazing! Hang tough today, work your plan, and post here so that we hear from you.

    @@bacon - we've all been there and we're all so viciously stuck in this perfection thing. I'm supposed to kick your butt, but it sounds like you're already beating yourself up enough. So, let's move on. If you don't care about tomorrow, I'll care enough for both of us. Let's make a plan and commit to one day, just tomorrow. What's the plan? If it involves finding the bully, I'm in! I was bullied by a fellow teacher last year and it makes me sick to hear it's happening to you. Give me a plan just for tomorrow, okay? I can hold you to it. Talk to me! @@lisacaron - thinking of you tonight. Hope things went well at the doc. @@enjoythetime - Hope you were able to hit the stairs today! I'm still enjoying the Greek yogurt & granola, thanks again. I add 3 tsp of Fiber powder and stay full for a few hours! @@2babutterfly - sounds like a successful day! How was the white chicken chili? I ate OP today with one addition. I had bacon with my two eggs this morning. I was hungry and needed something extra. My husband and I did a five mile walk with Leslie Sansone this evening and I've had 80 oz of Water. Seeing that X-ray of my little pouch today has given me a whole new perspective on what, when, and how I eat. That's the first time I've seen my band in action and I really want to take care of it. This thread is such a help. I think about you guys during the day. I also think about the plan I post and how I need to be a person of my word. Thank all of you for that little boost via accountability! I hope everyone is doing well. I'll post tomorrow's plan in the morning! Have a swell night!

    Can't wait to hear your thoughts... I'm home, barium swallow test & weigh-in over. Band looks good, though quite tight, and port is as it should be. Weight is down 7 lbs since my last WI 3 weeks ago, so I'm stoked. I'll eat according to the plan I posted last night, drink my Water, and do an exercise video with my husband tonight. Sounds like we're all rocking it today!! Love hearing all you're doing to make it happen!!

    @@ParaGirl - I'm not currently teaching. Part of our move included my not working for at least a year, maybe forever. I have lost 130 pounds and was banded in July 2011. @@lisacaron - Sounds like a few days of liquids might do the trick. We're all in this together. Post your plan for tomorrow and let us help hold you accountable. @@JustWatchMe - You attend OA meetings? I wish there was a local meeting in my area. I have found FA meetings and am considering it. Do you have an opinion that you can share with me? @@ParaGirl - I use tiny little saucers and spoons and forks for that very reason! I found some stainless tiny silverware on Amazon and love it. @@bacon - Making it happen! Keep it up! No regrets this week, right?!? @@enjoythetime - How did the plan go today? I hope all is well. @@punkinvine - Hope things have settled down in your world. Thinking about you and your mom. I have eaten according to plan. I drank all of my water and then some, 80 ounces. I did a 30 minute cardio video this morning and 50 tonight with my daughter and husband. I have my rescheduled barium swallow test tomorrow morning, so I won't post until it's over. My plan for tomorrow is as follows: B - 2 eggs L - 8 oz Protein shake S - 8 oz Protein Shake D - chicken and peas 72 oz water 839 c, 80 p, 37 nc Big favor...I too am a food addict and struggle daily. If I read about a particular food, it can derail my plan or at least keep me thinking about that food that I might not have considered. I even get up and move around when the food porn commercials are on tv. I hope nobody is offended or thinks I'm being a jerk, but it would be very much appreciated if you just gave a hint. I want us to post the good, bad, and the ugly, but maybe use "sweet treat" or "dessert" instead of naming specifics to avoid triggering someone. Are we okay with that? I hope you all have a swell evening and a super day tomorrow!!

    @@ParaGirl - I taught at Merry Acres & Robert Cross before transferring to Lee. I get it! What a SMALL world! @@bacon - I participated in a boot camp type board years ago. I would've gone back, but it's for a specific weight-loss program and I respect that. I was hoping to crank up the same supportive atmosphere on a thread here and I think we are doing just that. WE. I am so grateful for the support I'm getting here. I love the no excuses approach we're all adopting. It's certainly working for me and glad it is for you as well. I ate OP today and drank 96 oz of Water (prior to 7:30pm to avoid reflux issue). Today: 654 c, 76 p, 22 nc. Tomorrow's plan: 30 min am exercise, 3 mi pm walk B-yogurt w/ granola & Fiber powder L- Protein shake w/ fiber powder S- Protein Shake w/ fiber powder D-4 oz pork chop, veg 697 c, 83 p, 38 nc Hope you all have a swell evening and a fantastic Monday! I'll check in tomorrow to see how we all did over the weekend.

    My Water flush, and it differs for everyone, is increasing my intake for three days. Normally, I drink around 72 oz of water. On flush days, I increase to 80, 96, 80 for the three days and then back to normal. I do it when I see I'm retaining water, usually after eating out, but not too often. @@enjoythetime - you just did one too, how do you do it?

    @paragirl- my NP always said there is such a thing as too low on carbs, might want to ask. I've also been told by my new surgeon that drinking a gallon a day can cause stretching & reflux. He told me to go down to 64 oz so I don't stretch my pouch. I'm staying at 72 most days since 64 doesn't do it for me. I've learned that each doc is a little different, but you might want to ask Bagnato or his NP about it. Just my 2 cents.... I posted my plan for today last night and I'll stick to it. As I also previously posted, yesterday I did have a higher calorie day with a built-in treat. I did not post what it was because I do not want to cause anyone to stumble due to my mention of food porn. It happens. It happens to me. I agreed to post the good, bad, & ugly for the accountability, but I'll try to be sensitive and not give details. My rings are tight today. Could I be retaining Water after a water flush? Suggestions? I love reading what you guys eat (on plan), how much you eat & drink, etc. It gives me a good idea of whether or not I'm working the plan to the best of my ability. Thank you for putting it out there! I've already made some changes with your suggestions and I appreciate it SO much! Off to church with my little family and then home for a lazy afternoon.     @@ParaGirl - we moved to NE TN from SW GA back in May. It is so different, especially the climate, but we love it. Yes, Bagnato did my band and I do miss the Bariatric Ctr @ Palmyra, but heard they closed. Well, today was my "high" calorie day, 1618 intentional calories, and food is all logged. I will finish my Water and do that exercise video within the hour. Tomorrow: B-Protein shake L-yogurt & granola S-Protein Shake D-2 egg omelette 668 cal, 80 pro, 15 carbs See me splitting up that shake?!? It works! ???? Hope you guys are making it happen!

    @@JustWatchMe - I just bought flank steak today and thought the same thing. I'm going to pound mine out, sprinkle with water and meat tenderizer, dash heavily with dried parsley, add a few slices of cooked (not crisp) bacon, & roll & slice jelly roll style. It makes a bunch of them and they're so handy to prep & then grab out of the freezer & put on the grill. Zero carbs, lots of protein, and not too high in calories. Mmmmm!!

    Hey, hey, hey!!! The weekend is finally here! ???? @@Wesley'sgurl29 - welcome!! I'm with the others, start back right and see your band doc. @@enjoythetime - I am tighter when I haven't eaten in a while and let myself get too hungry. I also tend to slime at those time as well. Like my NP says, always should feel like I could eat a little something, but never should I be starving hungry. That seems to be my safe spot. @@bacon - you're rocking that elliptical!! It used to be my fav machine when I was going to the gym. @@2babutterfly - I'm drinking my Water slow & steady and getting it all in before 7:30 to avoid that reflux. Sweet of you to ask!! @@punkinvine - glad to read your post. I've been thinking about you. Meals are planned, I'm halfway through my water, and I haven't forgotten that I have to make-up exercise today. I'll get a video in at some point. I've been busy this morning, including shoveling snow, so at least I'm moving. Got my March dinners planned and the monthly Sam's shopping done, meat all split into meals and in the freezer. Setting myself up for success! Boom! Love the mojo we've got going! Let's keep it up this weekend! Hope you all have a swell day!

    food eaten as documented earlier, all Water consumed, 72 minutes of cardio videos completed, and tried something new. I appreciate the input about my Protein Shakes. I split it into 2 servings, 23 p each, about two hours apart. I wasn't hungry in between, so it worked well. Drinking that one at 2 kept me from being hungry this afternoon too. Afternoons are my hungry time, so this would be a bonus to take care of that too! Meals are planned for tomorrow and I'll make up last night's missed exercise at some point. You guys stay strong this weekend, seems like that's when we all struggle. I'll try as well. Let me hear from you!

    @bacon-I usually drink it over a 1-2 hour period. I add scoops of fiber too, so it's really filling and takes me a while. I wonder if I should split in half anyway? I could do half at noon & half at 2. Thoughts?
