    Fainting! Warning

There are certain party favors that you shouldn't mix with alcohol. Maybe that, coupled with dehydration, was the culprit.
  2. It just occurred to me that I could mix Atkins Advantage shakes with a little unsweetened almond milk and they would be perfect. They're the only shakes that I like so far, but they're too sweet and rich for me. I need to go shopping!

    Darker chocolate flavor?

Atkins Advantage Dark Chocolate Royale RTD shakes are incredibly chocolatey and actually really good. I stopped drinking them because I find them to be too rich for my taste, but it occurred to me just this second that I could mix them with a little unsweetened almond milk and they would be perfect.

    Success story

She sounds like such an insecure person. How sad for her.
  5. I'm beginning to think that I'll never be able to eat non-soft foods again. I find the gurgling so unpleasant that I'd rather eat nothing. Unfortunately that means that I'm light-headed all the time. What have I done to myself?

  6. I wasn't going to announce this because I'm only barely making it, but I hit onederland today. 199.8 lbs. Progress is being made. :)

    Bonnarooooooo

I always miss Bonnaroo since I live so far away, but I go to Coachella every year. Next year will be the first time I go as a skinny person (if I work this sleeve correctly). It's one of the things I'm most looking forward to. Finally I won't have to sweat to death in too many clothes!
  8. The Success Stories forum is my favorite part of this site. So motivating. :)

You look great! Love your patriotic nails.

    San Diego Buddy?

I'd love to attend a meetup. I was sleeved on June 14th.

    Attention Scale Addicts!

Oh, that's not me! Haha. That's the woman from the article.
  13. I'm honestly not sure yet if I regret my surgery or not. I'm thrilled with my weight loss, but there are drawbacks. I'm a lactose intolerant, vegetarian turned pescatarian with IBS. I spent a really long time figuring out what to eat, how to eat, and when to eat in every conceivable situation. I'm not excited about having to start that process all over again. However, that's not even the most disappointing part of the surgery for me. What I'm having the hardest time with is the return of my acid reflux. I used to be able to control it through food, but now even though I'm on medication and even though I'm barely eating anything, I'm still dealing with it. This may not be a huge deal to some, but I'm a singer and it's RUINING my voice. It makes me so incredibly hoarse that my range is shot. I can't perform and it just makes me sad to try and learn new music. I guess I didn't realize how likely I would be to have GERD after the surgery so I didn't realize how I would be impacted. My GERD is very mild and hardly bothers me, yet it still prevents me from singing as well as I'm usually able to. It hurts.

    What's your NSV this week?

I got back into a pair of skinny jeans that I hadn't been able to wear for MONTHS. I don't think I like them anymore, but at least they fit.
  15. Why does Unjury make everything so liquidy? Yuck.

As I near the end of my Weight Loss Journey...

I DREAM of getting down to 185. Good for you! I think continued weight loss will be inevitable for you considering all you've learned about how to eat and how to exercise, but I LOVE that you're making the decision to be happy with all of the work that you done and what you've achieved. You've made a tremendous change and your life is forever going to be better for it.
  17. I felt just the way that you do. I was still so weak even 10 days out from my surgery that I had to keep getting in and out of the shower to lie down and take multiple breaks. Once I began eating pureed consistency foods, I got in more calories and started feeling more normal. I'm 3 weeks out now and I feel worlds better. It won't take you too long.
  18. 200.8 lbs today. COME ON ONEDERLAND!

  19. Nausea!! I think I ate too much yogurt. I feel full and gurgley and nauseous. :(

  20. I'm glad to hear that you're doing so well! Good luck on your journey.

    Lactose Intolerance

You may know this already since you're lactose intolerant, but there are two GREAT vegan non-dairy cheese brands. One is called Daiya and the other is called Follow Your Heart. If you are looking for cream cheese, Tofutti makes a great one.

    Sleeved June 30

I had a BM 5 days after surgery and it was the worst one of my entire life. I hope to never go through that again.
  23. Tomorrow is the first day of my 4th week sleeved. I want a scrambled egg. Is it too early to try? I've been eating mashed potatoes, greek yogurt, cream of wheat, and applesauce.

  24. I know how you feel. I was sleeved the day before my birthday. I didn't even have a celebration. I was in the hospital, miserable. You'll make it through. I believe that these small sacrifices will be worth it in the long run.

    June Sleevers Master List

I apologize, but it looks like I can't. It seems that there must be a certain window of time in which you're able to edit posts and I must have exceeded that. I sent an email to the mod for help so that you can be added. Thanks!
