Hi all hope yall have a blessed and happy Thanksgiving.I have a question im having surgery on dec21st,have lost over 20 lbs already,i have noticed my hair has thinned out well on monday i went to my beautician and she also said it,and she knows been going to her over 6 yrs,i have long thick hair,she yelled and said im not getting enough Protein can i have some input on what really works,plz Darlene

Hi im having surgery on 12/21 band with plication my surgeon is also gonna correct a hernia,as anyone had this done and how fast did they heal.

Hi i have asked this question earlier and nobody replied so im gonna try it again. my lapband surgeon wants me to lose 20-25 pounds before i have it done,i want to see if im able to do the liquid diet, but can someone give me a guideline,i bought the isopure fruit punch and i like it .the man at store said since im using it inplace of meals then only use 1 scoop(INSTEAD OF 2) about 3-4 times a day or should i follow what can says plz help!!!!

I dont meet with the nutritionist until sept,i wanted jumpstart some weight loss and figured i would try the liquid diet before i had to go,thanxs so much for responding

Hi everyone, i have a question i wanted to get a headstart on losing weight so i decided to start the protein shakes.i went with isopure fruit punch flavor because ive had choc and vanilla and they are way to sweet for me,ok so here it goes on the container it says 2 scoops per day,but the man in the store said since im doing as an actual diet make it 1 scoop 3-4 times per day,plz help so i can do this right.I also bought broth and sugar free jello,look forward to all responses

Hi i dont have my band yet but i can tell you that yes i know how big fibroids can grow,i had a partial hysterectomy 6 yrs ago,my 1st fibroid was 10 lbs and the other which was under uterus was 4. hope you feel better

Not many ppl know about plication is that just so band wont slip or can it also be used for extra weight loss? im meeting with my surg aug 9th what are the basic questions i should ask? also getting nervous so many ppl stating how most foods come up.any help would be greatly appreciated,also how are you today and are you hungry? I was looking into lapband with plication (not sure if i spelled it correctly) because its so new,is it suppose to make u lose weight faster any help or info would be greatly appreciated. Hi my name is Darlene and i went to my first meeting yesterday at st charles hosp and met the staff and surgeons and i honestly have to say was very impressed with dr ahmad.im excited i have 1st appt aug 9th,i highly recommend looking into him and practice!! as of now couldnt be happier
