All my life I have been chubby and fat. Never have I had the pleasure in being thin or anywhere under 200 pounds. My wish was and is to be able to walk into a store and just be able to grab a shirt from any table or any rack without the problem of not finding my bigger size. I would want to shop for bikinis and actual buy one knowing i'll be wearing it this weekend to the beach. Everytime I go to the mall I quietly tear up inside knowing I can't wear any of it.
My dad was very ill and doctors have constantly advised him to loose weight or his sickness will get worse. So, he talked to Eddi Gomez about weight loss surgery. Eddie introduced him the lap band. My dad took the risk to live longer and be healthier by accepting Gomez's offer. He lost over 60 pounds in a few months and all the illnesses he use to have went away. It was a miracle and I was so happy. My dad asked me why I don't take the leap and have the surgery too. I thought about it and I saw his surgen, who soon became my surgen. I can say that I was scared to death about the whole thing, but I kept thinking to myself, "I want to be healthier, I want to be better, I want to be thin..." It kinda became my mantra. I pulled through in one piece and breathing lol.
I've lost a good amount of weight in a short period of time. I'm very happy, however, I have come to a platue. All the fast loss went to a hault. So, now I've having some modivational and will power problems. I found this site in hopes to meet others in my location to be friends with and in hopes to find others who share the same interests of a better and healthier lifestyle.  :)
