    Port change...?

Eventhough this thread is pretty old, I wanted to ask those of you who had the lower profile port change. The doctor never told me the regular one would show so much and that a lower profile was even available before I had the surgery. I'm at the point where I'm at least confident to go to the beach and swim without my shirt on but the port shows so much that it would be just as embarrassing as when I had a huge belly. Anyways, my question is simply is the lower profile port change covered under your insurance for those of you who had it? I have a partial PPO insurance which covers max out of pocket of $7500, but even a year after the surgery I'm still receiving bills from different sources and it's cost me about $10,000. If I do this port change I'm afraid there would be even more hidden fees. Please let me know. Thanks
