I am 37 years old and have been a complete yo-yo dieter for about 17 years, since the birth of my second child. Every time, i gain it all back and then some. Two years ago, i lost 60 pounds on Weight Watchers. I have since gained back almost 90 pounds. I am the heaviest I have ever been. I believe the lap band surgery will be the tool that I need to lose the weight and keep it off. My lap-band surgery is scheduled for July 28, 2011 and my goal weight is 160 pounds. I am currently on an appetite suppressant until my surgery. I am at 248 pounds. My highest weight was 256 pounds (late afternoon with shoes weight). I want to be active with my 5 children again. I used to play kickball, volleyball and softball with them. I can't wait until I am able to do it again soon.
