This is a great post, thanks for all the great info. I'm addicted to my smart phone and I love the cardio trainer app that is free but I upgraded to the 4.99. I am a runner and alway have been so it works a lot like My tracks but you can also log workouts that are on a treadmill or aerobic class or a variety of other workouts. It has really helped me to bump up the intensity of my workout. Thanks again. -
You are adorable!! I laugh every time I read your post- I too, grabbed all of my next sized down from that deep dark place in my closet and they wouldn't even go over my hips. Bastards

Congrats to all this month for all your hard work and determination- I finished my half marathon on Sat. Not my best time but I finished it. It's been a great month.

Hi all- I am a ER nurse and I have access many ports in my career and hand sanitizer is not a normal standard of care- Every healthcare professional who is giving you a fill should use cloraprepp which is a clear soap (alot like rubbing alcohol) or iodine. The hand sanitizer is weird and puts you at risk for an infection in my opinion. So on that not I would tell you to speak up, if you think what they are doing is not right ask questions. Now I will get off that soap box, I haven't posted much since my surgery but I love reading everyones input, I feel great now, I too, struggle with my diet at times, I am just trying really hard to stay positive and active. I am running a half marathon next weekend and I haven't done that for a few years, I am having a great time training, and I love that my body doesn't hurt all the time. Thanks for all of your positive energy and GG thanks for your recipes, I'm excited to try the chile. I think my kids would love it. I have been eating a lot of beans and legumes for there protein power. I hope all is well- stay strong all you A11's

I am in... I am supposed to be training for a half marathon at the end of the month, I don't know if I'll be all the way ready for it but I know I can get 60 miles in.

Hey you A11's Now that some of you are getting fills - I want to know how much saline your getting with your first fill? I get my first fill on thursday the 15th and I want to know what to expect. I am a nurse and i access ports all the time but never lap band ports. I have watched a few fills on youtube, they are kind of crazy, Good luck to those who have got filled and those who are getting filled.

lap band surgery denied by tricare
crafty mama posted a topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I just found out yesterday that tricare denied my lap band surgery. I am so sad and I don't know where to go from here. I sent in a letter of appeal yesterday as well, to try to get the ball rolling there. I really really wanted to have my surgery asap. I am over 100lbs but just barely and I have high chonlesterol and a long history of diabetes in my family but so far I don't have it yet. I wanted to avoid getting any sicker than I am already. Any advice on how to get them to approve me? I just feel like someone knock the wind out of my sails. -
Tricare denied me because I didn't meet their requirements I get the 100lbs overweight with co-morbidities, but how do you figure out the 200% overweight ideal body weight. I am nurse and a very good one if I may say without sounding full of myself, but I have no idea how to figure that out? Anyone else know?

how do you figure out the 200% rule?
