Why do you we have to drink so much?
CT Fats replied to Eyemallrt's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
How much does drinking water change post sleeve? I am a HUGE water drinker and at the gym I chug down at least 48 oz of water and thats in an hours time! Will I still be able to gulp it down or will I be taking dainty lil sips? Sorry to jack the thread, just one question I swear -
Just Curious, if anybody had a defininig moment when they made up their mind that the weight had to come off. I will start it off. I was at the playground with my son and there weren't many kids around so I decided to play with him. After chasing him around for fifteen minutes I couldn't go on. I was hot, sweaty and felt like I would pass out. I took him away from his fun in the sun so I could get back to my easy chair and the air conditioner. I wasn't gonna let my fatness ruin his childhood.

My 1st Date Post-Op
CT Fats replied to FishingNurse's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
As a guy, I wouldn't wanna hear about it on a first date. It's a bit intimate more of a third date type of deal. -
Have made up my mind to become the first post WLS patient to compete in bodybuilding. I checked the net and couldn't find anyone. Lifting is something I have been into since high school football and im excited. Get sleeved in October and the journey starts. Bring on the protein

What is your favorite Crock Pot Recipe?
CT Fats replied to Brandi Lewis's topic in Regular foods (stage 4)
I have made this, it was a big hit at home. 6 - chicken Breast halves, no skin, 1 jar (about 2 cups) your favorite Salsa (mild, medium, or hot) 1-2 TBLSP Brown Sugar 1 TBLSP Brown Mustard or Dijon Mustard Directions Place chicken in crock pot or casserole dish. Mix all other ingredients in bowl and pour over chicken. Cook in crock pot on low for about 6 hours, or bake in 375f oven for about 1 hour. The sauce is delicious over rice, scooped up with baked tortilla chips, or even served over steamed veggies. Number of Servings: 6 Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user ELAINEHN. The sleeve is a tool and to build a temple it takes smart use of said tool. I know you said one ice cream didn't make you fat and of course it didn't but the habits that you fostered (McDonalds) did. With it being so easy to fall back into bad habits, I would use the grace period to retrain myself to make long lasting and better decisions. A 'low fat' cone from McDonalds is 10% saturated fat, has 60mg of sodium and 24g of carbs. Grabbed this recipe for ya, I have made them before and they are tasty, hope it helps the craving.
