As I posted earlier I have had a problem for about 4 weeks with food getting stuck and reflux at night with the coughing. Went today to true results and did a barium swallow. Than goodness my band had not slipped. In fact it took a bit for them to see the brarium go down. apperently for some reason my band tightented up on its own. they removed ..75 cc's and for the first time in weeks i can eat without throwing up. Got an appt in 4 weeks to have the fluid added. I had 7.5 cc's in a 10cc band. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this

before you spend the money to fly to denver did you check out your local true results? they do in house financing and your credit does not have to be that good either

Agree with more water that is why I love miralax, thats exactly what it does draw's water into your intestines making it easier to go.

Agree with above, since you wont fill any restriction until about your 3rd or even 5th fill having the surgery then not getting fills is really a waste of your money. True Results said the same thing about not doing fills unless you go thru them too. Please have a dr lined up for follow up before you have the surgery. Good luck

your still a bit early to not need anymore fills. as soon as your stomach gets adjusted to the new restriction you will need another one. What size is your band? Everyone is different. I have a 10cc band and Im at 7.2cc restriction

agree with the above poster, I always weight myself in the morning since you do gain about 2 to 3 lbs at night due to water

They do offer a "discount if you say your a non smoker and another one for health sceening and heath coaching. Thank you, at true results they financed me. only got 5 months left then Im all done. I believe if I had not done something I would have only gotten bigger and bigger

Im not sure there is a right time, I actually got 2 on each wrist, 1st one was less than a year after surgery, last one was 1 year out.

I love miralax, it was recommened by my dr. Its a power that you can mix with either hot or cold drinks.

Thank you for the sympathy, in fact I have Aetana and they did not cover it, I was a self pay. they said it was the plan my employer chose. What really kills me is they would rather pay for the side effects of high blood pressure, diabetes and all the other complications steming from obesity than at least help pay for lap band. Im just saying makes no sense to me,. but what do I know im in the transportation business..lol

Thats funny that you ask for a to go box as soon as your food gets there, my husband does the same thing and it drives me nuts. I tell him, can I please get a few bits in before they bring the box...lol

I buy the small dixy plates at costco, just eaiser for me and my husband than washing, yea were lazy...lol He had gastric bypass and I had the band so between both of us we dont even eat a whole meal. If we ever go out to eat we spilt 1 meal, that is if we both want the same thing other than that we explain our situation to the hostess and they always let us order kids meals.

I actually do eat lean cuisene but since its on sale for $79.99 thats $20.00 a week which covers breakfast lunch and dinner. which we all know we cant always eat 3 full means so it would actually last longer.

I sit at a computer all day and I took 1 week off. Tried to go back a few days early but had to go back home due to the discomfort.

Unfortunatly you will need to get your protein in somehow. They have so many new kinds out now. Ensure makes a good one but its kinda pricey. If you have a costco or sams club check there. I know Enusre also has a new clear one out you may want to try. But I know what your talkig about. I was at the point with protein shakes that I told my husband "if I have to drink one more Im gonna shoot myself..lol"

Im in the same boat, banded June 2011 and only down 54 lbs. I down loaded Lose it, I love it since you can scan your foods and adjust your portions to your servings. When I first used it I was losing then I got lazy. Im back to doing it again and just lost 7 lbs this last month Good luck

Thank you for the feed back. I did try it once a few years pre-band days and it worked. But back then I ate allot more and the portions were too small for me. Im thinking now since I cant eat as much it may help. Appeciate you taking the time to respond. Terri

I agree with above poster, when I was using an app on my phone to count calories I lost, then I got lazy and stopped. hit a horrible platue for 9 months. Just got back on the band wagon and lost 7 lbs this last month Until you count calories you really have no clue how much your putting in your mouth every day. Good luck
