Hello all, Im new to this forum, in fact I'm a newbie to lab band. I had checked into it last year but could not afford the entire cost by myself since our cheap insurance wont pay for it, Oh no they would rather pay for health problems associated with obesity. OK enought venting for now...lol
A few weeks ago I found out a co-woker had the lap band. So I asked her if she could tell me how she could afford it, and to my surprise she said she had a hietal hernia and the insurance would pay to fix that and she only had to pay for the lap band part and True Results financed me.
So it was a very very short time from my 1st office visit last monday the 13th to surgery on the 23rd. Alot of that had to do with the things they reuired I already had, ex:
sleep apena study, ekg for the hernia.
So here I am at home reading all the wonderful information here, and in fact, you have answered alot of my questions already.
Looking forward to getting into those size 12's again  ;=)
