Yeay Congrats youll soon love it and this site was and has been very helpful to me...I think my first two weeks I survied on popcicles But welcome the journey will seem trying at first but believe me so worth it

I took a full week off...then now I am working from the confort of my own home..Truth I am about a week and half out and already driving my self around running errands..the pain is a lot less than it was before but I can manage...I wouldnt consider going back to work till maybe a full 3 weeks later I feel great still very swollen but its great here are more pics The first one shows me before having the PS and before having lapband done both costume parties im not a silly gurl okay okay fine I am LOL the sepia picture is of me Exactly a Week After my PS Surgery...I am really starting to see the difference and the swelling is going down more each day.

I will certainly try to keep you all up to date with my healing and the end result...I still have the drains in me..Once I get those off I will send more pics...the swelling still has not gone down I hear it takes about 3 months cant waite to see the end result thank you all for the love and support I really appreciate it Linda

Hello My name is Linda and I am currently in Tijuana Mexico recovering from my surgery..I had extended tummy tuck, butt lift, breast lift and augmentation. I was so scared of coming here but truth I couldnt not afford to pay 30K which was what they were charging me in California....I opted to go with Dr Luis Suarez Plastic Surgery Tijuana, Mexico, Plastic Surgeon Tijuana whom was great and his staff is also great. They picked me up in Coronado and brought me to my hotel which is walking distance from their office. I got here Sunday and had my test and surgery done Monday morning....I felt no pain what so ever and thats what I was most afarid of..I was more scarred of the pain afterward..The Dr makes you feel so at home and at ease. They are all fluent in Spanish and English and I mean fluent not that broken down English where you are guessing what they are saying...My cost was $9,950 I have to see how much extra the butt part was since that was added after I was there The hotel stay at Hotel Lucerna Hoteles Lucerna were at $86 a night this if you tell them you have been recommend by Dr Luis Suarez..It is really nice here they have WI Fi which I love cause I dont know what I would do with out my PC. I head home tomorrow and still feel great. I am so happy with the results and my choice for my doctor...cant wait to come back and finish my tranformation.

Hello Lapband Family So I decided to have my surgery done in Tijuana Mexico and wanted help and advice from those who have been there not only had the surgery done in Mexico but had surgery done in general. I will be having the tummy tuck, lipo and breast lift. Going to Doctor Luis Suarez. I have a couple of questions for those who have gone through the surgical path already. How long before you felt you can get back to your regular job (Or in my case Desk Job) I hope that I can at least work from home the second week after my surgery? Am I pushing it here? After the pain is gone and you can go about your days what has been the hardest thing to adjust to. I hear you are not fully healed till about 8 weeks after the surgery? And please if anyone can give me some advice on going to Mexico or if you went to Dr Suarez and can tell me about your experience I would really appreciate it I am freaking out here :help:

Okay here is my before and after thus far I still have about 77 pounds to go for my Ultimate goal. I finally got under 200 pounds so I feel awesome. I started off wearing size 27 in jeans and I am now down between 12 and 14. Size 14 is lose and 12 is still to snug LOL I hate that.

enterprise01: Do you have any before and after pix...well anyone on there for that matter I would love to see them. The ones on the site seem pretty old. For some reason I thought this weight loss thing would be faster but hey I am so not knocking the results..shoot its way better than I have done in the past...I would have quit my other diet by now.

Wow Im so glad I found you girls all this info is awesome..It is nice to see that Im not the only one people were looking at like..Um shes that big and shes only having a cup of soup LOL....My family gets worried I have to keep reminding them I am under my doctors care. I am at 3cc and I am so on top of my fills as soon as I can eat a full meal I am in there getting my fill. I really cant wait to see the difference I cant wait to say I am a size 6...My doctor says I should be at about 120 pounds honesty I cant even see that happening but I guess it will... Sorry for rambeling kinda at work and trying to send this to you all... Thanks for the inspiration

Okay guys I am so new at this and Im tring to figure this whole thing out including my signature with the cute little Ticker. I was banded January 23 2007 and have lost 40 pounds...How I wish it was more..I am starting to see the differnce with my cloths but not physically all though everyone around me can. I am on my thrid fill and I feel great :eek: Thanks For Reading its great to see your chats

Dont get disapointed...My doctor did tell me that I wouldnt really notice the difference till my 3rd fill. My first one I could eat normal foods..I felt somewhat restricted but I could still eat...now on my 3rd fill i cant eat a thing...Youll get to it...Does your doctor have you drink water while getting filled? Mine does and he adds or takes out depending on how fast or slow the water goes down..Kind of a weird feeling to acutally feel the water going down slowwwley LOL

btk would this be your first fill. I was banded January 23, my first fill will be Feb 26 I am a little scared. Needles and I just dont go. My doctor told me not to worry about my weight till after my first fill. I am back to eating solids and he does expect I will gain some weight back since I do not have any limitations right now.

I right there with you..I was banded on January 23 and those gas bubbles keep coming up. The first days I couldn't keep anything down. Now I can but those pains keep coming. Didn't know I could try Gas X I will be getting some real soon!!! Yeay... Isabella my Nurse told me to lay flat when I get them so they can pass. That seems to work the best for me. Although sometimes I can't move at all and I burp out as much as I can. I am not getting them as bad as a couple of days ago. I sure hope they are gone soon. Good Luck everyone. Tat1too Try installing flash again that seemed to work for me.... For those who already had the surgery...How long before these surgical tapes come off?? Oddley enough I want to see how bad the scare is :scared: and wondering if mederma would help minimize scarring.

The first couple of days I was not up for doing anything. I was to tired to do much walking. I just took baby steps and about interval of 5 minute walks. I am four days our of surgey and just got back from window shopping. Trying to invision my new style heheheh. A couple of days ago I wasn't sure if I would be able to go back to work, but today I am all for it. Ready to face the world. I mean I wont be going on a jog or horseback ridding anytime soon. I too have a desk job so I know I will be able to handle it.

I was told I could only have clear liquids. That my body would let me know how much I can have. The main pain I had was the section where the Device is at. That incision was red and swollen. I can honesly say I am 98% better today. The only part that really sucks is those air bubbles. That I am told feel as if you were having a heart attack. I have to be on a liquid diet for 2 weeks, then Pureed Food for another 2 weeks, then I can start adding solid foods. Everyone has told me that my body will let me know how much I can handle and so far it has. I have to admit I am tired of Popsicles, Jello and Liquids in general LOL. But I know this will be worth it. The pain is not crampy more like sore and tender, and the air bubbles coming up are not fun I have been BURPing A LOT!! Drives me Nuts. But each day is getting better and Today I really am feeling like a million dollars compared to the last couple of days. I have a lot to learn but I think together in this chat we can all help each other out.

Wow this site is really helping me out. I had my surgery on Jan 23, 07 and I was in a lot of pain. had a bit of a fever yesterday but I am doing much better today. I think I have a lot to learn. I am getting hungry now too but I think its due to the healing process. I have to keep reading here.
