Thanks for this! I jut got banded last week and this helps me understand better. I also was wondering about what Elcee brought up. Is the 30/30 rule really practical, or at least the post meal aspect if the food is transiting back and forth?

The issue as told to me by multiple RDs on the straws is the air trapped in the straw and how this gets in the pouch taking space where there isn't much to begin with. -

Was banded on thursday the 23, still hurting some. Strange feeling in chest I can't decide what it means. Is it gas or am I drinking too much too fast. It feels like a pressure on my chest but not a feeling I've had before. I've had shoulder surgery before and don't think it is gas but could be wrong -

My band date was June 23. I expected to be in the hospital overnight, but was sent home by 2pm. My surgery was at 7:30am. I'm doing well except for a new feeling that seems to be sitting in my chest. I'm a little unsure what I should be feeling.
