its funny u should say that. anybody who is a supporter in my group plays a role but none of them really understand what im going through so i reached out & found people who have had the surgery! to me, those are my real supporters. for example: my mom: take care of me & make sure im ok. my bestfriend(zumba instructor): i can vent to my boyfriend(personal trainer): i can work out with 1 or 2 other friends: can check up on me and those r the only people who know that im having it done. none of them know what im going through. all of them think i want the surgery but dont understand that i NEED it. i can see them saying to themselves (maybe even having the balls to say to me) "you did this to yourself", if i ever complained about this. this is why this website is so great. EVERYONE understands EVERYONE!!!! i also have a youtube vlog!

i lost 80lbs before and they didnt shrink one bit. only thing that changed was my back size. i went from a 40DDD to a 34DDD.

congrats! i havent been sleeved yet but ive read that those pains arent hunger pains, they are gas pains but feel like hunger!

sometimes, you need to be selfish! ppl have a misconception that being selfish is a bad thing. its not! we need to be selfish and take care of our selves! youre investing into your future, your marriage & your kids lives!

yeah when i had my gall bladder surgery, it sat on my incision. 2yrs later, that incision still itches!!! a good sports bra fixes that issue though! i dont want a boob lift because of the scar & because i have a tattoo on my boobs but if it gets bad, ill be getting implants & a lift! BELIEVE THAT! lol. they do have a slight sag to them but not bad. my nipples still face up & not down at my feet. lol.

first i want to say welcome! congrats on getting through your 6months and getting your surgery date! you are well on your way to becoming a new person! someone healthy, happy, & the best mom to your kids grandma to your grandson and future grandkids! this will be your final battle of weight loss! im happy you found us!! my story, im 23. 5months into my 6 month supervised diet. im praying to be sleeved on dec 20th. i meet with my surgeon on nov 30th!

oh wait.. i have one more huge fear!!!!! LOSING MY BOOBS!!!! i have REALLY big boobs and i love them. as a kid, i prayed for them! lol. thing is, ive lost 80lbs before through dieting & my boobs WENT NO WHERE so is it possible that i wont lose them? ima DDD. i should be an E but its hard to find E bras. i dont mind going into a DD or MAYBE even a D but a C? yikes! i havent been a C since elementry school. lol. i mean, if worse comes to worse, i guess id rather lose them than stay fat but :'( i dont want to! i know someone who was big breasted & she had the sleeve and now shes as flat as a pancake! granted, she mightve only had boobs because she was fat & she had 2kids. i think mine are naturally big & they were always a DDD/E whether i was a size 6 or 18! and i have no kids. lol yikes!

well, i was told that the hospital has experienced 3leaks. there is 2 surgeons in that office so im not sure which dr it was but EVERYONE looks at my dr like hes a LEGEND!!!! so im dying to meet this superstar! lol. i meet him nov 30th. yikes!! im afraid of not waking up but thats anytime ppl get put under! ill just pray! i know this wont be my last surgery so im ok! im TERRIFIED of not making it home for christmas. i will even ask my dr to send me home & i just wont drink or eat anything if i have a leak & ill come back the day after christmas or after all my family leaves that night (wishful thinking). lol. i just dont want to miss my family & dont want my mom to be depressed without me! i think im going to be just find tho. i dont see myself having a bad experience. i think im going to be one of the lucky ones (((HUGS)))

from the TONS of research ive done, ive read that all the pain is gas & hunger feelings are gas as well. walking relieves the gas. when laying in bed, put pillows under you to keep your upoer body slightly elevated. this should help with the gas a little. whenever you feel pain, get up and walk. even if its to the bathroom & back. u may feel nausea because of the meds & because u r no longer taking in as many carbs! ur body is using fat for energy instead of carbs! i pray u get better soon!
