i went to the dr today for a check up. everything looks great. i lost 3lbs since the last time visiting there.

i am going to start weighing myself and weighing in every week starting monday

hey! im 6months & 2wks post op. i felt just as u did. if u bwgin feeling dehydrated, drink some gatorade. at first, itll be impossible to get in all the necessary liquid & Protein but u will eventually. if it makes u feel any better, soon, all that u are going thru will be a distant memory & will seem like a walk in the park! i used to drink about 20-30oz of Water a day. in fact, i still do & my blood work shows that im perfectly hydrated. just keep sipping. it sounds so rehersed and ppl always say it but "it will get better" lol

today i decided that 145lbs might be my goal weight. i doubt 165 will have me looking how id like to look. im aiming for 165 by my 24th birthday which is aug 26th. wish me luck!

im in a relationship of 10yrs. there are/were times where i was completely turned off. no sex drive, couldnt even be touched or id scream and fight him cuz i just didnt want to! but i am in love and it was a phase that passed. it does happen off and on at times. it seems like u r not going thru a phase and it sounds like youre not in love. i say go on the trip & then figure out how youre going to live the rest of your life!

i had threw up bile 2x at week 4&5 & my nurse practioner sent me for a swallow test. life didnt go down hill right then and there, that wouldve been too easy! life literally CRUMBLED at that point. i went thru hell for a month but once it was healed, it started going uphill. thank god!

girl, stop weighing yourself. pick one day of the week to weigh yourself and dont touch the scale after that. i was sleeved on dec 20th, 2011. im 6months out & i weigh myself every month. im down a total of 93lbs. i started at 273. yes its true that the heavier you are, the faster you lose & thats because you are changing your diet drastically but also understand that everyones different. i lost 93lbs because i had a leak at 5 wks & didnt eat again until 10wks post op. mind u, i dont diet nor do i ever or have i ever worked out since surgery. your body may be slowing down because it wants to take the time to heal itself & give your skin a chance to catch up. good luck to u

let me say this, pre-op i said the same. i wanted to lose the weight so bad that i wouldve sold my soul for it. but going thru that hell, man... i regretted it. i wanted it to stop! everyone kept saying, "youre sick but atleast u lost x amount of weight." and all i could think was F**K that. i wouldve prefered to gain that weight than lose it and go thru all the bs. all i prayed for was to get better and get to live!!! because i felt so sick and swore i was going to die one day. so u may feel like u r ok with dying until it seems like death is staring you in the face. it doesnt seem worth it anymore,

yikes!!!!! 7months out? u just scared me to death!!! the thought of going thru another leak, wow. id tell them to keep me in the hospital the entire time. i cant imagine. ugh!

that is very scary! but i am praying for you. my best advice is hope for the best but prepare for the worst! i thought id be sleeved & it would be uphill from there. healing from surgery wasnt bad. healing from the leak was hell. i never thought in a billion years that it would happen but it did.

hey! well i know this was posted a while ago but this stood out to me. im 6months, 1week & 2days out. i had hair past my butt and super thick! i have lost 3/5 of my hair & my hair is falling out in chunks!!! its so damn depressing! :'( i take biosil and Biotin for my hairloss and i even upped my Protein. nothing helps. i cant wait until it grows back. i actually did a video showing some hair chunks that ive lost! check it out on youtube.com/jasleeve

if the copay is the same price as mexico, id do the copay! even tho here u have to jump thru hoops, those hoops r to make sure that u r physically & mentally prepared for whats in store for u.

well guys, heres my update!!!! i had surgery on dec 20th, 2011. i weighed 273 before my pre-op diet. i lost 19lbs during my pre-op diet. i found out i had at leak at 5 weeks. they placed a stent and i was hospitalized for a total of 2weeks. the stent was in for a total of 4wks. after not eating & not having a picc line or anything and being HORRIBLY SICK, they finally removed the stent & it was uphill from there! i am now 6months, 1week & 2 days post op! i weighed in 2 days ago at 180lbs. 93lb weight loss. i went from a size 18-20 (stretch) jeans to a size 8-10 (stretch) jeans. my goal is to go down to 165lbs & see how i look. if i want to lose more, i will try for 145lbs. i am losing hair excessively! i have upped my Protein & i take both Biotin & biosil & nothings working. im praying that it does stop soon. i eat about 2 chicken breast a day from boston market for protein & sometimes i snack on a Protein Bar or drink a shake. i dont count calories, carbs or anything. im just living life & trying to be normal as possible!!! please visit my youtube channel... i finally made an update!!! youtube.com/jasleeve

absolutely.... NOT!!!!!! i thank god that i had surgery because i look & feel so much better but at the risk of going thru what i went thru again? absolutely not!
