i was sleeved on 12.20.11. i wasnt feeling very good for a while since i was only drinking water. i couldnt tolerate protein shakes so i had no nutrition in my body. once able to start eating soft foods, i felt great! but i began throwing up bile at week 4&5. i was sent for a swallow test where they checked if i had a leak and i did. i was admitted into the hospital and was hospitalized for 2 wks. they placed a stent inside me and i had the ok to eat and drink. i became very ill from having the stent placed. i threw up non stop all day long for the entire month that it was in. i didnt eat for over a month! i barely was able to drink. i made trips to the er. they did a xray on me which showed that the stent had migrated and i was sent for an emergency procedure to have the stent placed back into the right spot. long story short, it was the worst month of my entire life! it is pretty fair to say that i thought i was going to die because of this. thankfully, i now feel so much better. thank god!
