    Has anyone ever...

Maybe this can help, saw it on another board with pictures, looks super yummy, makes 4 slices, see attached .doc file for recipe and pictures. You Won't Believe it's Cauliflower pizza Crust The crust, baked initially. Can be frozen. 1 cup cooked, riced cauliflower* 1 egg 1 cup mozzarella cheese 1/2 tsp fennel 1 tsp oregano 2 tsp parsley **pizza or Alfredo sauce toppings (make sure meats are cooked) mozzarella cheese Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick spray. In a medium bowl, combine cauliflower, egg and mozzarella. Press evenly on the pan. Sprinkle evenly with fennel, oregano and parsley. Bake at 450 degrees for 12-15 minutes (15-20 minutes if you double the recipe). Remove the pan from the oven. To the crust, add sauce, then toppings and cheese. Place under a broiler (grill for the Europeans) at high heat just until cheese is melted **. Notes: *I use frozen cauliflower prepared according to package directions. After cooked and slightly cooled, I shred cauliflower with a cheese grater, and then measure for the recipe. (Don't pack down the cup with cauliflower. Just fill it with a spoon or the cup itself.) ** The pizza sauce I use is Great Value Pizza sauce from Wal-Mart. At only 3 net carbs per quarter cup, you get a lot of punch for little carbohydrate pow. *** You can try re-baking the pizza at 450 once you add toppings if desired, but the crust is not quite as crusty. There is a minimal difference, so see what works best for you. Cauliflower Pizza Crust.doc
  3. I started fainting 6 days post op, and am having trouble everyday since. I don't mean dizzy, lightheaded, I mean with little warning and my body goes limp and I hit the ground out of control. My BP is normal after fainting and I am getting enough Water. Doctor says low glucose will not make me faint. Waiting on blood lab tests from today to see if potassium is off. Anyone else actual have fainting problems?
  4. Anthem BC of CA PPO did not require a disciplined diet. Just a history of weight loss attempts conveyed to your surgeon. For example I've tried HCG injections, Accupuncture, Hypnosis, Slimfast, Medifast, Weight Watchers, and 3 times on my own, all in all, 5 times I've lost 100 or more pounds only to gain it back plus more. That was satisfactory enough for a weight history. I did not have to prove it, but who in their right mind make up a history like that. Best of luck, you'll get approved. Your surgeon will help you to get your approval.

Higa & Boone in Fresno CA

Hello RaiderRob, I'm also going with Dr. Higa. My local surgeon recommended him, and after my surgery (Dec 29) he will be releasing back to local surgeon's follow up care. That is also an option for you. The reason I'm going with Dr. Higa is a financial one. I have Anthem Blue Cross PPO of CA, and Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital is one of the few deemed "Centers of Expertise".
