Thank you Linda! I have a lot of pain under my left rib aslo, I asked the PA about it in a phone call and she said that is where they put the port. I thought it was lower. I wonder if that will always bother me being under my rib. Seems like an odd place to put it. Why was their pain in your chest and shoulder??

I also had a hernia repair, the only pain I have had so far is the pain in my chest and left shoulder. There have been times I've wanted to cut my arm off it hurt so bad. It is getting better. I had hernia repairas well. I'm sorry you are having so much pain!

I was also banded on the 20th and the thought of food makes me sick to my stomach. Isnt the soup you had the same as broth? I was told I could have broth...is every doctors instructions that different? You can tell i am very new to this... -

I want to know how many people had to have hernia repair at the same time as the lap band and is the pain that much worse because of it. I was not expecting this much pain
