Why do women have anal sex?
TriCyndiLoowho replied to Oregondaisy's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
OMG!~We had tried anal for years and years. (We have been married 18 years.) Last month it just got easier and it is absolutely AMAZING now!! I crave it daily! I'm on a mission to get other women to love it, too. My friends think I'm crazy, but their husband's appreciate it. lol -

Throwing Up every Night..Please Help
TriCyndiLoowho replied to Maggie63's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
my Dr. seemed to think that an un-fill would help/cure it. It did not and is actually worse now with all the Fluid gone. I havn't talked to my regular Dr. about it as she was out having twins for awhile and then it just actually never crossed my mind to ask her. I guess I thought she would say that it wasn't her specialty and send me to him. My husband has been deployed for months now and it became really apparent to me that this was a problem just before he left. I said nothing to him as when he is deployed he just needs to focus on THAT and get back to us, not worry about anything at home. I've lost more weight since he has been gone and have done nothing to try to lose weight. It has just been the not eating much combined with nearly constant vomiting. (constant after eating, of course, not just all day long, which has led me to just not eat much at all. It doesn't seem to be worth the effort anymore.) To answer your questions: Sometimes saliva stays down, sometimes not. It is weird. Yes, I am eating small portions/bites. No potatoes, bread, rice or Pasta. They are totally not worth the effort at all. Get stuck way too easily. -
I had all of the Fluid in my band removed. My surgeon was such a jerk about it that if he was the only Dr I could see I simply would not see a Dr. I do not envision EVER returning to his office. I had an abdominal x-ray (no slip) and a complete un-fill. I throw up now more than ever. It has gotten WAY out of hand and I'm starting to feel fatigued due to all the vomiting. I trained for a triathlon in the summer and ended up never competing due to this issue. (not being able to keep enough food down/not enough nutrients, fatigue, training schedule started slipping due to fatigue and dehydration.) The un-fill did not solve my problem at all. I'm considering going back to therapy.

Banded 3 years ago, no longer lurking
TriCyndiLoowho posted a topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I've put off doing this, but here it is: I had lap-band surgery 3 years ago. About 6 months ago I joined WW and at first it really helped me get back on track, eating-wise. Then it made me downright obsessive about it. I was on 29 points/day and thought,"how about 20?"....then I went down to 17, then 10. I was training for a triathlon at the same time (hence the username) and got to the point where I could no longer sustain workouts on that level of intake. Somewhere along the line I started vomitting....a lot. I went back to my surgeon (easily the worst bedside manner in the world) and he blamed it on me, that I should have come in sooner, etc. I had 1 cc in my band and he did a total unfill. That was over a month ago. I'm still vomitting every day. Sometimes 3 times/day. I won't go back to him. My husband is about to deploy and I just don't need one more stressor right now. If that Dr mouths off to me ONE MORE TIME I will walk out. I'm DONE. This is REALLY on my mind b/c I'm getting my teeth cleaned tomorrow and I'm dreading talking to my dental hygienist about it. I've known her for years. I'm rambling. Anyway, ....hi. -

I didn't realize how odd my OP must have sounded until I read your replies. Yes, it is true that WW made me obsessive. I meant that. It (helped to) completely warp and alter my way of thinking about calories and nutrients. I think that it only did this to me because of whatever underlying issues I had.....I DO think that WW is a GREAT program. Just maybe not the perfect one for me. (This is not an anti-WW vent or anything!) I think I am leaning toward disordered eating. The vomitting is because food gets stuck. How can it get stuck with no Fluid in the band? I throw up so much that even the thought of eating makes me nauseated. If my surgeon wasn't such a jerk about answering questions perhaps I would talk to him. (He's at Baptist. I know it's a Center of Excellence, but his bedside manner is not.) While I do not require hand-holding or someone treating me like I have no responsiblity in this at all, just a tiny bit of humanity and kindness would be appreciated. (I'm talking about the Dr still here, not anyone on the board!) I feel like I'm taking small bites, the same size I was taking when I had fluid in my band for the first couple of years with no stuck feeling. I 'chew to goo'. When I feel so stuck I think, "Wow, I must have eaten a HUGE amount and I didn't realize it!" then I throw up and it's such a tiny amount. And, yes I think that there is a fine line between this being physical and this being psychological. I'm not denying that. I thought my stats were in my profile. I guess I should put them in a sig line. I started at 260. I'm currently at 180. My goal weight is 110. I am 5'4 and pretty small boned. (my fingers wrap around my wrist and then some.) I was never able to even say with a straight face, "I'm just big-boned". I'm a stress baker and my oven has been working overtime lately. In one 48 hour period I made 6 Desserts. Ironically, the more I bake......the less I eat. I don't know what size band I have. It's a Realize band. I know that 1 cc was not that much. That's why it surprised me when suddenly I was way too restricted on it. Then.....even more surprising that even with it empty I am still too tight. I've had an abdominal x-ray to check for a slip. none noted and the band looks fine. -
Throwing Up every Night..Please Help
TriCyndiLoowho replied to Maggie63's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I have been having a similar issue. I don't throw up at night or have acid reflux, but I throw up most of what I eat. I (kinda) talked to my Dr. about it. His bedside manner is ATROCIOUS and I hesitate to bring much, if anything up with him. He blamed it on me, for not coming in sooner. I had a complete unfill and I still throw up most of what I eat. The thougth of ever talking to him again makes me want to puke. (Ha!) I tried talking to my closest friend about it and she just said,"wish I had that problem!" (the vomitting is combined with not eating much.) It has gotten to the point that I get nauseated anytime I try to eat. When I googled THAT particular symptom I read that, "in the absence of physical findings the cause is psychological". I was training this summer for a triathlon, but my intake went so low that I couldn't even sustain workouts any longer. I nearly passed out on the treadmill one morning. I won't talk to him about this. I can't handle his disapproval, snark, sarcasm and arrogance.
