I have fought a weight problem all of my adult life. I've done so many of the fad diets and am a lifetime member of Weight Watchers. I lose 60-70 lbs. and gain it (plus more) after a year or so. I have high blood pressure, osteoarthritis in my knees (need knee replacement surgery, but orthopaedic will not do it until I success with my weight loss). Because of my knees, it causes problems with my daily living activities. I tried to get approved last summer, buy my insurance requires that I work with a Life Coach for a year. That has been wonderful, and my year is up on August 16th. I have an appointment with my surgeon on the 17th! I do hope that the approval process won't take too long, because I have completed the psych eval, eval with a dietitician, seen the surgeon, etc. I am truly ready for this journey to begin. I would appreciate any help along the way from other patients.
