Congrats on getting through the surgery AND on the weight loss! Wow, you must be feeling the difference already! Starting a three-day clear liquid diet tomorrow (pre-op)...not looking forward to that, but otherwise I'm very excited to begin the journey. Hello, everyone...obviously, I am new here. My VSG surgery is scheduled for next Tuesday (6/28/2011). Not sure how it works around here, though I am sure I will figure that out over the next few months. Like everyone, I'm sure, I really want to find a place where I can learn from people who have experienced the same type of thing (at various stages along the life journey)! So, if anyone reads this, please feel free to reach out! I started blogging back in February, thinking I was going to (once again) get on top of this weight situation. Of course, I fizzled. But I decided to pick up the blogging again---I'd like to chronicle this rebirth; the new VSG journey on which I am embarking. Hi, Abby. I am new to the forum today---my surgery is next Tuesday (6/28/2011). I have about the same amount to lose that you do...maybe a bit more. I am 6' 3" 386, and want to get down to around 215. I'll be interested to follow your progress. I wish you well! Take care, Rob G
