Seems like your surgeon is just taking extra percaution because of your health issues. things will happen for you. This is just a liitle bump in the road. I bet you'll have a date before the month is out. Stay positive.

Hello, My surgery date is Dec 8th. Surgeon Dr. Noel Williams w/ University of PA. Pre-opt diet started 7 days ago and down 8lbs.

Liquid diet didn't go well over the holiday. I have only 10 days left to do this liquid diet. Im praying 10 days is enough time to shrink my liver in order for the surgery to take place.

Surgery date: 12/8/11. YIPPIE. C-PAP machine still sucks. It's gone soon after having my surgery.

Im excited and nervous at the same time. What sucks is that I will be on the two week liquid diet phase during Thanksgiving. UGH! I am allow one sensible meal thank goodness.

OH! The Pre-opt diet has me drinking breakfast/lunch and a sensible dinner (lean cuisine). So glad I get to chew on something during this process.

Contacted the surgeons office to advise all insurance requirements was completed as of yesterday. I have a tentative surgery date for Dec 8th provided I am approved. Should hear something in the next two weeks.

My quack visit was not covered by my insurance. I paid $275 for the visit. I also have a $200 fee for the 2 hour nutritional visit. These are small out of pockets expenses considering the cost of the surgery. -
Hi MsladyKanKan, welcome to the site. I haven't been sleeved yet but hoping for a Nov or early Dec. date.
Don't talk yourself out of the surgery. Do your research and more research then decide whats best for you.

So ready for this all to be over. One more visit with weight management and info will be sent off to the insurance company. C-PAP machine will arrive next wed. UGH! so not looking forward to that

Got a call from the sleep study center and was told I need to do another sleep study. UGH! Apparently, the results showed I had sleep apnea. I am not happy about this and a little upset. I hope this doesn't delay me in getting WLS.
