What a great response! I am starting my pre-op diet in 1 week and I am nervous about it because being hungry has derailed all of my diet efforts in the past. I will keep your comment in mind when the hunger monster in me tries to take over!

I wonder if getting stuck is something that happens to everyone? I am getting banded on July 22nd and my biggest fear about this whole thing is Getting Stuck!

I know exactly how you feel. I told the one person that I thought would be completely supportive given she has struggled with her weight her whole life too. Her reaction was so negative, that I told her I changed my mind and have not told anyone since. I had my gall bladder out last year and so people think that I am going back in for surgery due to something of that nature. I have become addicted to this site and it is a wealth of support and advice. I am getting banded on the 22nd and can't wait for the journey. Good luck and feel free to message me anytime! Ally

Hi Everyone, I am getting my band on July 22, in Toronto. I am counting down the days!

That's what I want to hear!! While I am so excited about this, some of the stories in this forum can be a bit scary. Do you experience some of the symptoms that I read about here such as throwing up, reflux, etc? How do you manage them if you do?
