    Please Tell Me...

You are not alone!! I was the exact same way!! I was so scared that I was going to stretch my new sleeve or worse yet, cause a leak somehow. I don't have any wise words of wisdom, all I know is that if you trust the process and in your doctors instructions, you should be just fine! :-)

When Can We Have Sex Again?

This was a tough one for me to ask too, but I agree with Circa, don't hold back on the questions for the doctor. I'm sure it's pretty routine for them :-) I was told that I could resume activities when I felt ready.

Please Help! Im A Little Worried.

I remember my surgeon telling me not to weigh the first month after (ummmm sure lol). He said that there's swelling, healing and fluid in you that you really wont get a truly accurate weight right away! Hang in there, this is totally temporary!!

Ready To Begin My New Life!

Wishing you lots of luck! Your positive attitude and new sleeve will take you far!

    Infection :(

I think I would have it checked out at the ER also. The last thing you want to deal with is an infection that has spread! Take care of yourself over there! :-)

    Leaving Soon!

No freaking out :-) You ladies are going to do great!!! I'll be thinking about you and make sure to let us know how you're doing once you feel up to it! Great things are in store for you guys!!
  7. It's weird that a couple of bites can fill you up, isn't it? lol I have a 3yr old and love that we can share our meals now and thank goodness for those take out boxes! Congrats and happy anniversary!

    Three Showers?

It does seem like a lot but it sounds like he's just playing it safe. Scrub a dub dub my friend! lol
  9. A BIG hug for you!!! I agree, his comments are hurtful. Hopefully he's just giving you a hard time and doesn't really know that he's being mean. All I know is this, holding on to excuses and blaming others for his weight will only hold him back. Until he let's go of the excuses, he will hold on to the weight, period. Don't let ANYONE diminish your hardwork and don't let anyone slow your progress down!! 37lbs is nothing to sneeze at my friend! :-) You're doing an amazing job and shame on him for not being the first to high five you!

  17. Good luck this week!! You wont regret your decision! :-)
  18. Just wanted to send good vibes your way for tomorrow!! Your concerns are valid and I think totally normal. I will say that everyone's story is different but for me, once the first day passed, I found the pain to be much more tolerable. I did use my pain pump the first day...and a little the next morning. It didn't make me queasy but it did knock me out...something that I really didn't want. After he pain pump thing I'm not exactly sure what I took but I do know that my first dose was around 9am (2nd day) and my last dose was 6pm (same day). After that it was Tylenol. You will be in pain, but hopefully it will be short lived. My advice to you is if you need it, take it. It's much easier to keep it under control if you stay on top of it. Take care of yourself...I'm sure you're going to do great!

    Still Wanna Pick At Food

My cravings were worse when I was on the mushies and purees. Once I started solids I noticed them decrease and now that I'm on a normal (as normal as post op goes lol) I don't really think about things like that at all anymore. Stay strong and push those thoughts out of your head
  20. I think we've all had days when we've questioned what we've done to ourselves. You're NOT alone!! Please know that what everyone says on here about it getting better, is true! Hang in there and keep taking care of yourself and you'll be feeling more like yourself in no time!
  21. I've been thinking about you! I'm so glad to see that you're doing so well! Your attitude towards your upcoming loss is inspiring!! Congrats and keep up the great work!!

    Chest Pain Wtf?

I was going to say anxiety too. I know that I landed myself in an ER once because I thought I was having a heart attack. Turns out it was a pretty bad panic attack. Hope you feel better...take care of yourself! :-)
  23. So glad to hear you're doing well!! Take care of yourself over there! :-)
