Surgery 4/20/12. Scary and was delayed from 9am to 2:30pm. Had all the emotions everyone has going in. After surgery in recovery pain was about a 6 or 7 but they quickly got it under control. The pain med knocked me out which was good for sleeping the first night. Was relieved to have surgery over. I asked to be taken off of it in middle of night and try the going home pain med which worked out fine.
Day 1-Went home with pain at incisions but no gas pain. Rested and slept .
Day 2- pain less but on meds. Up most of day but nothing too strenuous .
Day 3- pain only at port site. Went on part of day with regular Tylenol . Up and shopped a little and got pedicure. Will be working tomorrow. Think shouldn't be bad. Gassy eating so stomach is still adjusting . Only eating 1/4 cup at a time. Not hungry but food looks so good.
