sugarmamma7 replied to DivaDee84's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I feel ya its been almost two months and I still have aches and pains and I am always cold! I guess it takes the body a while to heal. I just hope we aren't lacking in vitamins. But also I exercise more so my body could just be adjusting to the new routine. Hope this helps and hope you feel better soon! -

Ex husbands girlfriend makes compliment
sugarmamma7 posted a topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
When my ex husbands girlfriend came to pick up my son the first thing she said to me is "Wow you really have lost a lot of weight!" This really meant alot coming from someone who doesn't compliment me at all and the fact that she is super skinny. It was very nice to hear! So eat your heart out ex husband! I have lost 30 lbs and I don't have ghout anymore! Tonight I also took a long walk with ease and didn't get out of breath I walked the longest and fastest around my neighborhood that I have ever done! I am so thankful for my sleeve! -

Tips for back to school
sugarmamma7 replied to gigi90's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I ended up going back to school only 6 days after surgery because I was failing because of missing too many days for surgery. I am in culinary school and was making bread and hurt alot. I am not sure what you are going to school but I wish you the best of luck just take it easy. I told some of my fellow classmates but I just told my chef I was having surgery. I didn't want to tell him it was an elective surgery because I wanted for him to give me the time to make up my work. Good luck to you and sending some healing vibes your way -
Why I cannot wait until I have surgery!

I am so sorry this happended to you. Sending a hug your way. People should never assume that women are pregnant there are probably a milllion medical or health reasons a women may look pregnant but not be pregnant. I too carry all my weight in my stomach and have had this happen to me. It is not fun. I am glad you had enough courage to laugh it off you are one classy lady. Hope you have great sucess with the sleeve and I wish you good luck in the future and I hope things get better for you. -
I think you should still get it done

Gastric Sleeve done on 8/26/11...Struggling a bit...
sugarmamma7 replied to meggspeggs's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Sweetie I am so sorry you are having a rough time. When I came home from the hospital I had those little cups that kind of look like shot glasses. I just did the best I could with drinking from them. I would stop when it hurt and continue drinking after I burped a couple of times. Just listen to your body your sleeve will tell you when you are full. And when you feel like drinking again then do so I didn't worry about a certain time line I just did what I felt was right drinking when my tummy had settled. Be careful not to get dehydrated. Some people had to go get IV fluids in the beginning not trying to scare you just help you be aware of possible complications. Please keep us posted I sure hope you feel better soon. Sending hugs your way... -
Will pray for you too sending hugs and good vibes and energy your way!
