About Me

  • Gender
    Male
After several years of weight gain and a deteriorating health I went to an information seminar to determine if a lap band was the right option for me.  I felt informed and made the decision to move forward...
I have since lost 90lbs and feel i am on track to a healthier life.  Don't kid yourself, the habits you had in the paast will haunt you if you don't change everything that got you where you didn't want to be. No sugarcoating the facts, the band is a tool but it's a tool to initiate a change.  I now work out 5 days a week and it isn't easy.  I have seen the weight come off at a steady pace and am looking forward to the day I feel I'm where I want to be weight wise.  I chose the lapband as a permanent tool and I know it's always there.  I have a 14cc band and I am at 9 - so a bit more than halfway closed.  It keeps me in the green zone and reminds me to slow down when I eat.
