I was approved for gastric bypass surgery last year. After going to the seminar, I realized that the surgery was a little too extreme for me. The words "changing your anatomy" was something that I can't get past. Also, I felt like the doctors rushed me through like cattle and didn't really answer the questions that I had.
So here I am a year later, still miserable. I am going to a seminar at a different hospital to check out the Lap Band. I hope that this is an option for me. I have starved myself so much and my weight has been so up and down, that my metabolism is very messed up. I am ready to get this weight off and keep it off.
