ive heard about this. how do yougo about getting it?

Hi my name is Nic (Nicole) and I am from NY. When I had my daughter 10 years ago I gained over 100 lbs. I have been fighting to lost it for the last 10 years. I tried EVERYTHING. Last year I found myself very fatigued all o the time. My pcp did a sleep study and found that I had sever sleep apnea. I DO NOT like using a cpap. the pulmonary and pcp suggested that i see a surgeon about lap band. well that was last october. I went for my consult in november and i was banded on monday the 13th. Its my 6th day i feel excited, afraid, renewed, lost so many different emotions lol. I also (today) feel hungry ! any suggestions advice is welcomed. i have started on "mushies" already most just pureeing soups i am nervous because i see so many others on liquids (clear) for longer than i was told was neccessary.

hello everyone my name is nic and i am also from ny. I was banded on monday and just here to give and get encouragement and support. feeling a little out of it today and discouraged but making it through :-)

im glad that i read this and you are not alone ! i was banded on the 13th and i feel like chewing soooo bad lol. then i am confused about the mushies vs liquids my dr told me to go to mushies the 4th day but i see ppl on liquids for like weeks !! dont be discouraged youcan do it !!
