Have been overweight since childhood...with some short moments of fitness...but I've never weighed less than 195 pounds in adulthood. I've been on ever diet known to man, and will lose some (20-30 pounds)...and then gain it all back + more.
My good friend had wls last year and her results and support have convinced me that I am a prime candidate. I have a severe case of Apnea and wear a CPAP ever night. I have knee problems and 3 herniated disks in my lumbar spine.
I am excited about surgery, and very dedicated to making it work. Having to pay cash due to a lack of wls being covered on our insurance...makes me even more motivated!
