I rotate creamers depending on the flavor I feel like having. I should most likely change to something because the creamers all have way too much sugar. -

I have done very well with my weight loss since my surgery in June of 2011, so please do not think I am complaining. I originally lost 105 lbs and went from a size 28/30 to a size 18/20. In the past 6 months or so I have gained about 15 lbs back and my 18/20's are starting to be uncomfortable. I used to fill up so fast when I would eat, but now not so much. I used to never be hungry, but now am occasionally hungry, especially when I wake up in the mornings. I really want to get that 15 lbs back off and loose an additional 25, but not sure what to do. My normal eating (and I am being totally honest) is a protein drink for breakfast, 2 cups of coffee with creamer, a protein drink with trail mix for lunch, another cup coffee with creamer, high protein meal for dinner (about 1 cup of food, maybe a little more). I almost always snack at night on either chips, candy, cookies or anything in the house that I know I should not eat. I am not exercising and just can't seem to get my butt to do it. I do expect some harsh responses from some of you because I know I am eating stuff I should not, so please be gentle I just do not know what I need to change (besides the nightly snacking) to get my weight loss started again. Thanks for any feedback you give. -

I am 1 year post op and have lost 105 pounds. Yay me!!! My problem is I still want to lose 25 pounds and I on a major plateau. I have not lost any weight in months. How do I get the weight loss going again? How many meals should I replace with protein drinks? How many calories should I take in? Thanks in advance for any comments left!!!

Maybe you should back off the shakes and switch to a protein liquid like Isopure. So sorry you are having such troubles.

What does "full" feel like now?
ChelseaChestnut posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am on day 10 with my new tummy and doing great. Absolutely no nausea/vomiting and I have already lost 30 lbs. from my highest in office weigh in about a month before surgery. My question is...what does full feel like now? I do not feel anything. I do not feel hungry or full. I feel nothing. I have been able to eat about 1/4 cup of creamy soup and also 2 tablespoons of ff/sf pudding. I am only eating now because I know I am supposed to. I am not eating because I am hungry. I did not feel full when I was done. Will I ever feel full again? -
Anyone else out there required to take blood thinner injections after surgery?
ChelseaChestnut replied to ChelseaChestnut's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Thanks for all the info. The 2 day break really helped and my period has stopped. I took the shots yesterday and today and had no problems. I think my hormones were raging last week and I was just freaking out over all of this. Letting the alcohol dry does help with the stinging and if I do the shot quick, the only pain I get is a little stinging for a short time after I do the shot. -
Anyone else out there required to take blood thinner injections after surgery?
ChelseaChestnut posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had my surgery on June 27th. I am required to take blood thinner injections for 14 days after getting home from the hospital. I think it is called levonox? Unfortunately, I started my period the morning of surgery. The injections have complicated my period and is causing me to bleed very heavily and is not stopping. I had an endometrial ablation October of last year, so I really shouldn't be bleeding very much at all at this time. My surgeon still wants me to keep taking the injections but has approved that I not take them for 2 days in hopes that my period will stop. So far it has not. This is really worrying me. I have been anemic since I had my ablation and do not want it to get any worse. I am also freaked out about getting a blood clot. I have a giant bruise on my inner thigh that showed up a day or 2 after surgery and is now getting a little sore. I also really hate giving myself the shots, even after watching my diabetic father do it to himself several times a day my whole life. Any thoughts on all of this? Thanks~ Chelsea -
I had my sleeve done Monday morning and it is now Thursday morning. I have yet to drink the required amount of protein. I am supposed to have 3 of theses fruit punch protein bullets a day for a week. My new stomach is not tolerating cold drinks very well. Have any of you tried warming up G2? I find that protein tastes better when diluted with G2. Thanks everyone, Chelsea

Weight Watchers for 6 month diet..missed a few weeks..will they deny me?
ChelseaChestnut posted a topic in Insurance & Financing
I have United Health Care and they require a 6 month supervised diet and allow it to be 6 months of Weight Watchers. I am worried because I missed a few weigh ins during that time. Do you think they will deny me because I missed 3-4 weigh ins during a 6 month time period? I think now I should have just gone to my doctor 6 times instead of going to Weight Watchers every week for 6 months! It would have been so much easier!!!!! -
