WOW 2nd week in a row I lost 6 pounds. These 12 pounds lost make up for the previous 2 weeks stall.

I have broken the 3rd stall since surgery and am down 8 more pounds for a total of 47 since surgery 15 weeks ago. 230 pounds gone from my highest weight. That new scale I got on Monday was kind of not liking either my body or maybe where I placed it as it wouldn't register for me. The number after the . wouldn't stop moving and the scale never beeped like it did for my roommate when he got on it. Yesterday the scale finally registered a weight for me. I moved it and got on it naked where as before I had clothing on.

I can't tell you how relieved I am that Friday is finally here..........

I'm freaking out a little, in a good way! Tonight I was able to hobble onto the scale because my curiosity got the better of me, since I haven't been able to weigh myself in a while because of my knee surgery and huge bulky brace. I'm exactly 200 pounds lighter than my highest weight! I am so, so happy to have made yet another enormous milestone! I love all of you. Thank you for being so kind and supportive. Went swimming in the lake... topless... and felt okay for the first time in my life. Holy hell that felt good!

Feeling faint/dizzy whenever I go to a store or restaurant. I don't know why.

I guess I have officially hit my 1st stall. It's been a whole week at the same weight. UGHhhh and so close the the 100 pound mark too! TORTURE! myabe tis week I'll hit that big landmark!

This weekend couldn't be going any better. I got up at o'dark'o'clock yesterday and threw a suitcase in my car and haled arse back to my hometown....some 5 hours or so away. I slipped into a table at Mom's favorite breakfast restaurant and was waiting on her as Dad walked her through the door and guided her to the table. She had no idea I was coming and I haven't seen her since January. She walked in and went to her table and saw a strange teared man sitting there smiling at her. She turned around and told Dad that someone was at their spot.....he said, "Well who is it ? Look at him". She turned and looked back and saw it was me and started yelling out once she recognized me. It was awesome. My Sister was hiding and filming the whole thing. Absolutely hilarious. Mom has had a heap of health problems these last two months and I am so glad to be her visiting with her. I cooked breakfast this morning and am about to get ready and go to church with them. We've had a great morning over coffee and their dogs have adopted me as their long lost brother. Life is good, folks. Yesterday was a great day, today proves to be even better. Life is good.

It is official I am the new Social Director of my 187 home community. This elected volunteer position I never would have accepted before this year. However due to all the weight loss, personal growth and community supporting it felt right to accept the position. I look forward to many more changes in my life brought about by this wonderful journey after WLS.
